Ben Carson said on Monday that even if Donald Trump turned out to be a lousy president, hell only be in office for four years.
"Even if Donald Trump turns out not to be such a great president, which I don't think is the case, I think he's going to surround himself with really good people, but even if he didn't, we're only looking at four years as opposed to multiple generations and perhaps the loss of the American dream forever," Carson told Newsmax's Steve Malzberg.
The former Republican presidential contender and retired pediatric neurosurgeon endorsed Trump last week. Carson did not elaborate when asked about a potential role in a Trump administration, other than to say that he would be "doing things" in an advisory capacity.
"We haven't hammered out all the details," Carson said when pressed on whether he had been promised a Cabinet post or something else. "I'm not going to reveal any details about it right now because all of this is still very liquid."
I think I would need several bottles of strong drink in order to pull the lever for Trump!
Hey! Don't you muddy the water...:)
So does that mean that if Ben Carson really screws up his advising of Trump then he only has to do it for four years?
Yeah, Ben only four years. And it could be a lot shorter than that once he gets in gear.
Things must have gotten out of hand.
“P.S. Government doesn’t create jobs. Please paste responsibly.”
Trump has employed over 37K people. Trump currently employs 22K. He created those jobs - more than all other presidential candidates combines and probably including from the last ten election cycles. Please post responsibly.

“You expect him to add to the Federal payroll then? “
Obviously you haven’t been paying attention.
Earlier, Carson said he was promised an appointment. After this statement, IF there was a promise, it’s likely gone. What a dumb bunny.
I agree ... but it strikes me that we have come to a point at which the latter is not a bad metaphor for the country.
