Ben Carson said on Monday that even if Donald Trump turned out to be a lousy president, hell only be in office for four years.
"Even if Donald Trump turns out not to be such a great president, which I don't think is the case, I think he's going to surround himself with really good people, but even if he didn't, we're only looking at four years as opposed to multiple generations and perhaps the loss of the American dream forever," Carson told Newsmax's Steve Malzberg.
The former Republican presidential contender and retired pediatric neurosurgeon endorsed Trump last week. Carson did not elaborate when asked about a potential role in a Trump administration, other than to say that he would be "doing things" in an advisory capacity.
"We haven't hammered out all the details," Carson said when pressed on whether he had been promised a Cabinet post or something else. "I'm not going to reveal any details about it right now because all of this is still very liquid."
The stereotypes are almost palpable.
RE: Keep the hammer away from Ben
Is that like being a child molester? /s
You forget, we are having 8 years of the worst ever.
It's more likely Carson acknowledging Trump was willing to give a "fluid" promise of a position in government in exchange for a lukewarm endorsement.
I have to wonder if Dr.Carson even said this, with the lying media now days...
If, God forbid, Trump somehow ends up as the nominee, and if I somehow decide on the morning of November 8 to hold my nose and pull the lever for him, that would be my thinking.
“Hello, Ben?” “Hey, this is Donald, STFU. Thanks, have a nice day.”
Carson is right. His comment is for the Cruz supporters who are #nevertrump. If hillary win, thats 2-4 judges taht will effect a generation. If Trump win, its only for 4 years if he was bad

Never, in the history of mankind, has there been such a tepid show of support for the presidential candidate who has apparently promised you a spot in the administration.
Four years in which **Trump** could nominate those 2-4 lousy judges--like his pro-abort sister, who Trump said would be "phenomenal" on the court--that will affect a generation.
And/or paid off your campaign debts, etc. Trump has freely admitted that he pays off politicians to get their influence.
Gotta love non career politicians!
Carson never struck me as someone who was terribly bright. Could not Trump’s political consultants give him a written statement and coach him on how to speak to the press so that he does not come off this obtuse?
Everything Trump proposes seems to be reactive - using executive orders and federal government agencies and programs to do "good things" to undo the damage Obama has done. I'd rather be hearing him talk about proactive things like election reform and forcing federal agencies to be more transparent and prevent them from destroying evidence of their wrongdoing. We don't need our own Obama, we need to never have another one.
Sorry for the intrusion but thought I might fix something you said. What? You're assuming "bad" won't include SC nominees by an unprincipled deal maker?...
“Sadly, hes right. Even if Trumps in for 8 years it will not be enough to turn back the long term move to big government corruption and national moral decline”
It’s funny that you believe that a corrupt, morally repugnant man like Trump is gonna turn this country around. It ain’t gonna happen. Trump will be like Biff in ‘Back to the Future II’. Count on it.
Bingo!
So sad for Carter, now he can't even go to his grave knowing that he holds that record.
With Hillary its 100% certain it will be bad. With Trump there is a trust issue. You think he’s fake, but he said he will elect Conservative judges, so there still a chance no matter how small of him acting on his promise
BTW, I have VIDEO of me being picked up by 2 women at the rum festival I went to in early February. I was scared to post it because I had to get my wife (whom I asked NOT to go to the festival so one of us could drive home) in the right frame of mind about what happened. Actually I was minding my own business, reviewing the rums (mostly bad) on camera when the 2 women asked to take my pic for some reason. Anyway, afterwards my wife was sort of pissed off when I first told her. Then I sort of talked her out of her anger...until she saw the video a few days ago. Then I had to work on her mind again until I had her laughing about the situation. ...She won't be laughing if she ever sees the photo the blonde woman took of me and the brunette. Hee! Hee!
