They’d be wise to try to catch a rising star.

I don’t want to win ‘Republican’ seats for the sake of ‘Republican’. We’ve been there, done that and it got us a pile of duck squat topped off by a bullshit desert.

I want those seats filled with Americans that don’t succumb to the hoors, money and whistles of the DC Disneyland representing me or my countrymen.

It seems that more and more U.S. citizens have awoken to the fact that actual citizens have become, well, second class citizens.

Are some in the GOPestablishment starting to get their eyes open?

No other candidate is expanding the GOP tent like Trump is. GOP needs to realize — join him or get left behind.

With the numbers Trump does seem to be brining over, if the GOP play their cards right, they could own presidential elections for the next 2 to 5 decades or so. But more of the same feckless GOP leadership is not going to do it.

This is actually a really important issue.

Trump is the likely nominee for sure. We believe he will bring out Blue Collar Dems to vote for him. But we know we are vulnerable in the Senate. We have lots of GOP Senators running for reelection including the highly vulnerable Kirk from Illinois.

So will Trump hurt or help? Will those Blue Collar Dems vote for Trump AND Kirk? I wonder. Will Trump inspire the Rubio, Cruz and Bush supporters to come out in record numbers? Can Trump pull Kirk over the Finish Line?

I hope so - a Trump Presidency with Chuck Schumer running the Senate would be a mess.
But I’m not so sure. We need to see some evidence that Trump has coat tails.

GOPe Power Grab. Get the party to lurch left and swallow up several million liberal voters, taking them away from the Democrats. Stay in power in Washington.

Principles? Ideals? Policy?

None of that matters. What matters is staying in power.

The lights come on for the GOP-e.
Here’s a clue, Kevin...
The Bush Family is only interested in...The Bush Family.
Stop taking their advice.

I suspect that SOMEONE just lost his House leadership position...for going to the DARK SIDE, and to put salt on the wound, he was giving specific examples.

Only if they actually align with him and begin to support him rather than attack him.

I know I will NOT vote for Portman in the OH senate race this time.

BUT Trump hurts with big donors, many of whom profit from open borders.

Trump is only leading based upon the fact that this election is about shaking up both parties and tossing out the insiders in favor of those who will represent America. If that is what is going on, then Trump has no long coat-tails for GOPe to clamber on to. In fact, I don’t think he would want that since they will just weight down efforts at reform.

How scary. Kevin McCarthy, the third of the “Three Young Guns”. Blech.

Kevin’s hoof in mouth disease was a true set-back to the Benghazi Committee, already slow to display their ammo before the General Election begins.
