I thought it was so bizarre to get a letter from Cruz about how worried someone named Heidi was that they wouldn’t make their fundraising goals and could I chip in $5, $10, $25...whatever I can.

As far as I was concerned at that point they might as well have been from Nigeria.

That’s my take on it as well.

They can’t say he’s not winning, so they try to find a negative and make that the story.

Remember last year? Why he’ll never win the nomination. Couldn’t happen.

Guess what...

First place is the new last place. Or so some would have us believe.

Besides, California doesn’t matter. It’s gonna go for the Socialist candidate anyway, so the CA Republican primary voters just get to pick who’s gonna come in 2nd place in the general. No biggie.

4 votes for Trump in our California family and two from the neighbors. I would take the 5 point lead in a heart beat.

Doughty, I like your enthusiasm and conviction that CA could be in play this year.

My home State too. Agreed. Too weird. Huge change in demographics in the last 40-50 years. In rough numbers, 15M non-hispanic whies and 3M hispanic whites in 1970 changes to 15M and 15M even split by 2014. If Trump becomes POTUS and builds the wall, the fight between Brown and Trump will be interesting.

Nobody can say for sure, but I think California has the best chance it has had since Reagan. Bush may have taken it the first time, but I forget now.

California is not as far gone as some folks like to think it is.

It has been abandoned by the party in and out of state. And some folks wonder why it has gone so far left.

I’ll tell you one thing, when Trump is president, if a Conservative runs for Governor, Trump will be here unlike the idiots in leadership rolls in the party over the last 25 years.

Things may not be lost in CA.

In the 2014 elections at least 5 Republicans made their Democratic opponents sweat their re-elections in Democratic leaning districts by getting 48% of the vote.

The Orange County Board of Supervisors are now all Republicans.

Irvine city council went from 3-2 Dems to 4-1 Republican super majority. The two who were elected are strong conservatives.

That’s good to hear.

What needs to happen is places like Los Angeles and San Francisco need to be broken up in political terms.

If that took place, this state would come back online.

I’d love to see a Conservative figure take over the Los Angeles Times. You get that and a few television states change their news lineup, and things begin to swing back towards normal.

California lived through this before with Arnold. It's like ground hog's day. That was a disaster. Makes sense Cali residents wouldn't be so quick to jump on the Trump train.

I live in a Conservative county in California that has always voted Republican so I don’t know very many Libs, but I do know one Lib couple (business owners) who voted for Obama twice and are discouraged about the state of the country right now but are excited about Trump. They haven’t missed a single Republican debate yet.

That sounds like Ted Cruz supporter math.

The other night after the polls closed Gram Ledger (OANN) said the real winner Tues day night was Cruz because he denied Trump one out of 4 states. He even said that (before the counting was finished) Trump was up to 50% in one state but by the end of the count Cruz only allowed 40%+...Using their twisted wishful thinking Cruz won that one too.

It's really pathetic.
