Poll: Clinton would easily beat Trump
The Hill ^ | 3/9/2016 | Jesse Barnes

Clinton would edge out Trump by 13 points in a one-on-one vote, 51 percent to 38 percent, in the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal survey.

Trump, the controversial GOP front-runner, would lose even more soundly to Bernie Sanders should the Independent Vermont senator secure the Democratic nomination.

Sanders bests Trump by 18 points, 55 to 37 percent. Sanders picked up a surprise win over Clinton in Michigan on Tuesday, though Clinton expanded her overall delegate lead.

By comparison, Trump's rivals Sens. Marco Rubio(D-Fla.) and Ted Cruz (Texas) both fare better against the Democratic front-runner in the latest polling. Cruz and Rubio have stressed their electability in the GOP race.

Cruz trails Clinton by just 2 points, 47 to 45 percent, in a hypothetical matchup, while Rubio ties the former secretary of State at 46 percent each, according to the NBC/Journal poll.

Trump argued during a round of television interviews Wednesday morning that Republicans should unite behind him after his series of victories in the GOP race, including three on Tuesday night.

Trump, who has regularly boasted of his ability to defeat Clinton, said Wednesday on CNN that he thought she'd be the Democratic nominee.

He also argued on NBC's "Today" show that, if they united, "nobody could beat" the Republican Party.

The survey of 1,200 adults was conducted March 3–6 with an overall margin of error of 2.83 percent.

So you won’t go to Washington for the FreeRepublic.com Inaugural Ball? We can probably get Mike Huckabee back with his band?

How do we know these pollsters are big fat liars?

If the Clinton beats Trump polls were true, the lib media would be pushing Trump 24/7.

This from Politico on 03/06/2016: with just two days before the state’s delegate-rich primary, Sanders hasn’t yet made the sale. He has trailed by double-digits in each of the nine public polls taken since the beginning of February. Hillary Clinton’s got the backing of both of Detroit’s newspapers, the state’s top Democrats,

WRONG!

Hillary might even lose to Romney or any other hack the GOP puts up. Just like Barry won against Bush because of Bush (and the relentless drum beat against him), Herself would lose to any warm body because of who she is, a failed wife (Paula et al), politician (Iraq War vote) and diplomat (lost an ambassador for the first time in 30+ years). Listing her accomplishments is easy. She has none.

“NBC News/Wall Street Journal survey.”

no credibility. The premise that Hillary can beat Trump is false on its face.

This was the same polling outfit that showed a deadlocked three way race between Trump, Cruz and Rubio.

In real life, Trump beat them by double-digit margins and Rubio was a non-factor.

By far the crappiest polling we’ve seen in this cycle. Zero confidence should be placed in anything coming From NBC/WSJ.

Its just plain garbage and I don’t know why any one would take them seriously after last night’s results.

He hasn’t even started to address her, and she’s now the anointed.

Seems to me I remember some folks saying that Trump couldn’t get the nomination.

How did that work out? He’s besting everyone.

Yup. Bad polls create an image of strength that simply isn’t there.

After what we saw last night, NBC/WSJ should be fired! They’re simply not credible.

"no credibility. The premise that Hillary can beat Trump is false on its face."

You want to talk about no credibility? Same poll says this:

"Sanders bests Trump by 18 points, 55 to 37 percent." No. Way.

Rasmussen Reports, generally a more conservative leaning polling organization that only polls likely voters has its latest findings: “The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds that Clinton earns 41% support to Trump’s 36%. The new numbers mark a gain for Clinton who got 37% of the vote to Trump’s 36% in late December, just over a month before the Iowa caucus launched the primary process.”

Getting their ducks lined up for election fraud. Once the ‘margin’ is agreed apon, they just put that number in their software and hit Enter.

Not necessarily directed at you, Charles, but those out there that keep claiming Trump has “sky-high” negatives would be performing a great public service by listing any number of them for the benefit of us rubes.

We’d really appreciate the effort!

I dont buy this poll. I remember the way the media kissed McCain’s a@@ in 2008, they knew he would be the weak candidate against Obama, that is why they treated him until the Convention like a pussy cat..they licked his behind and called it ice cream til he picked Sarah Palin, then it was straight up war..I want to see state by state matchups between Clinton and Trump..let’s see how Trump matches up against her in Michigan, Florida, Ohio, and Virginia..national polls dont mean much because we have NO idea who they are polling, they could be asking people in California and Vermont for all we know
