Breaking— CRUZ CAMPAIGN STAFFER SAYS CAMPAIGN IS DONE —

ted cruz

A Ted Cruz campaign staffer today told CNN the campaign is done. “His Campaign is done.”

“The Cruz campaign has to focus on getting basic campaign techniques right,” said a Republican operative who works for the presidential campaign, who asked not to be identified. “I don’t think Cruz can win the nomination at this point. I think his campaign is done.”

Cruz took a huge blow on Saturday after he could not win a single county in South Carolina, a state with an enormous evangelical vote.

It had nothing to do with it being an open primary state. He had the majority of the Republican voter support

So I think many would like us to believe, but surely we can find out for certain?

Is there not a list of voters who voted in the primary? Can we not see how many Democrats are included?

I have to say that picture captures the article’s mood. I always wanted to take up photography as an art/hobby and love pictures that help describe the story.

75 Percent evangelical? why? because they said they were? So if you had an interest in demoralizing the Cruz campaign, how would you go about accomplishing that? Perhaps making it out to look like he wasn’t supported by his core constituency? An open primary sets up the perfect storm for this. Just a simple mans opinion.

In other words, there aren't enough true Christians to vote for Dominionist heretic and liar Ted Cruz.

That's how they referred to THEMSELVES in the poll break down. They volunteered the information that way.
Geeze you Trmpbots are bitter people. Can't you just stick to the issues?

One week before the Cruz people were bragging about how ultra liberal NH was just a “bye week” for the expected blowout win in SC.

Now SC is a godless hellhole of fake Christians?

Cruz didn’t even win one damn delegate. That was a complete repudiation.

Sounds like you are telling yourself something that you wish were true.

Sounds like i'm noticing the obvious. South Carolina is an open primary state. Liberal New Hampshire I would expect to go for Trump, but South Carolina? If the vote were restricted to Republicans, I think it would have turned out differently. Generally only the most conservative bother with primaries.

Open primary allows Democrats to vote for the popular populist running. Everyone else is boring.

Cruz is losing everywhere, may even lose Texas. Can’t blame Democrats...he should maybe finish his term as Senator before he fills himself with self righteous hubris again.

Dem crossover votes for all three top 3.

Cruz got fewer. Translation, he would never have had a chance in the general.

Unnamed.
This couldn’t possibly be the work of one of the other campaigns. They’re all far too ethical.

More likely....

CNN exacts its revenge upon the Cruz campaign after being blamed for Iowa. Tough to fight folks who buy ink by the barrel.

Exactly right. Conservatives have been so successfully demonized by both the GOP establishment and the leftist Democrats, that many folks shy away from any real conservative candidate.

Plus, these open primaries are rife with dishonest opportunists crossing over and voting in the GOP primary in order to skew the results. Having open primaries are one of the most idiotic things the GOP does....among a plethora of other idiotic, stupid things the GOP does.

I didn’t realize he’s using the same people now as in TX. My sister donated tons of money to him when running in TX and she doesn’t live there. She thought he’d be great in the Senate. It’s interesting what happens to people when they cross that line from the Real World to D.C.

Now my sister is for Trump.

My son and his wife are life long democrats. This is the first time in their lives that they'll vote R...and only Trump. Blows my mind!

Exactly what I mean. He appeals to people who normally vote Democrat, and in open primary state, they can vote for him.

“Cruz has been sabotaged by his own campaigners”

Cruz never had a chance. He rode Trumps coattails to become a blip on the radar. He has no national appeal and no ability for cross over votes. See McCain, Romney only far less women voting. It would be a disaster, again.

If Cruz looked a little more like Tom Cruz, was a half a foot taller, had a deeper voice, wasn't a lawyer, didn't handle snakes, and wasn't born in Canada.......maybe, maybe he'd have chance. But then again, he's like Rubio—a junior senator with no experience running anything but their mouths.

It's never been a tough choice.

It almost seems to me Cruz hired people who were set on destroying him and were in fact his enemies.

Sure seems that way or are they just wholly incompetent?

Huh?

I mean, what?

It's an old meme. When you hear Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! it is a reference to old game shows where a contestant has scored a correct answer.

I actually read that evangelicals were fairly split on who they voted for, enough to where a couple of the pseudo pastor/political consultant wannabe types wrote blistering letters to the evangelicals telling ‘em to stop voting for Donnie boy and get all behind Mr. Sachs, cuz Jesus wants to cut out the middle-man or something.

18 f-——ing whores in this election and the pack ‘em add up to about 9 phonies, 400 pounds of low grade fertilizer and horribly misused human skin.

Once Cruz exits when either his money or self delusion runs out, his voters mainly will go to Trump, despite the crybabies here.

>>Now SC is a godless hellhole of fake Christians?

By the radical Cruztian’s definition, anyone who doesn’t support Cruz is not a true Christian, is a communist, and is probably a homosexual.

Anyone who is inclined can make up their minds about that by picking any Cruz/Trump thread and read through it paying special attention to arguable criticisms vs plain old ad hominems.
