Breaking— CRUZ CAMPAIGN STAFFER SAYS CAMPAIGN IS DONE —

ted cruz

A Ted Cruz campaign staffer today told CNN the campaign is done. “His Campaign is done.”

“The Cruz campaign has to focus on getting basic campaign techniques right,” said a Republican operative who works for the presidential campaign, who asked not to be identified. “I don’t think Cruz can win the nomination at this point. I think his campaign is done.”

Cruz took a huge blow on Saturday after he could not win a single county in South Carolina, a state with an enormous evangelical vote.

Thanks for pointing that out. I had completely forgotten that idiosyncrasy with SC. I was flabbergasted by Sen Cruz's apparent poor showing

I just learned it this last week. I realized immediately what it would mean. It also made me understand something that had been troubling me for a long time;

How does that pathetic pansy weenie Lindsey Graham keep getting elected?

Doubt there was that much staunch Dem crossover this past weekend, unless they intend to vote for DT in the General.

Of course there were cross overs. Trump STARTED running as a Conservative and said everything we wanted to hear......but then he moved over to the salesman trick called bait and switch. He's running more like a democrat now than Hillary. They either choose Trump (now D), Hillary (D) or Sanders (S) Has anyone actually LISTENED to what he's supporting NOW?

He's saying he's for eminent domain.
He's saying he's for Planned Parenthood funding.
He's saying he wants single payer health care.
He's saying He likes government subsidies.
He's saying hell make deals with Democrats.
And he uses crony capitalism to make himself rich.

(Is that REALLY what you want to hear - and vote for? Isn't that what pi$$ed us off in the first place???)

Cruz has been sabotaged by his own campaigners.

Gee wonder who this un-named staffer could possibly be?

I'm voting for Cruz. All this stuff about his campaign "dirty tricks" is just pure BS.

Rubio is howling about a photo-shopped image (the real picture of him smiling with the Gang of Eight is worse)- He (Rubio) can't handle a negative picture? JUST WHAT THE HELL DOES HE THINK THE DEMOCRATS ARE GOING TO USE AGAINST HIM- If he's the nominee?

Not to mention RUBIO IS THE ESTABLISHMENT AMNESTY candidate- Cruz has to stay in.

“My son and his wife are life long democrats. This is the first time in their lives that they'll vote R...and only Trump. Blows my mind!”

This is not just anecdotal.....I have family and friends who actually want to vote for Trump. Most have never voted for a ‘Republican’ in their lives save a few that voted for Reagan.

But the GOPE knows better, they would rather have Hillary win than Trump. Sez it all really.

<< “... using ones own words and records are considered an attack. “ >>>

Purposely crafting a lie, or some kind of a misrepresentation, or a distortion of truth is still a lie, nevertheless.

It’s a lie by omission. Staging an opinion or position of 20 years ago roughly, and attributing it to ANYONE, as if they still held it, is a lie by ommission of the truth today.

It is not okay.

I am very glad TRUMP doesn’t have to do this. I would hate to have to burn my own conscience by defending such spurious tactics.

Are you guys going to have a readymade excuse for every damn state?

If Cruz doesn’t win then that state MUST be a leftist cesspool!

What is he going to do in the general election?

“You really think that everyone who identifies as an Evangelical is Republican?”

Maybe not Republican, but definitely not Democrat. The entire Democrat platform is unholy.

Do you really believe that Dems who care whether Hillary or Bernie wins their primary are going to waste their vote by voting in GOP primary? You can only vote in one or the other.

No, but I believe a significant chunk of Democrats (say 20%) don't want either Hillary or Bernie. A lot of Democrats *HATE* Hillery, and don't think Bernie can win. (They think it's rigged for Hillery, and so do I.)

Donald Trump appeals to several Democrat constituencies, and unlike us, most of these people don't bother keeping up with every little detail of politics.

They find someone they like, and they don't care what party he belongs to.

Dedicated Party types will do the Hillery and Bernie show, but the rest of non-party kooks will vote for whom they like, and they like Donald Trump.

That said I don't put much store in anonymous quotes and find it hard to believe someone still in a campaign would say that. Although I support Trump.

Not sure what to think of it. Whoever this person is, their career in politics is finished. Whether they are right or wrong about this, Stabbing your candidate in the back means you will never work in this field again.

Almost smells like a false flag operation.

Trump pulls quite a lot of support from Democrats. They like him.

Because he's pulling a bait and switch! It's an old salesman trick.

He STARTED out talking like a conservative saying everything we wanted to hear. Once his got his followerrs hooked, he started running as a democrat to get THEIR votes.

Proof? What is it he stands for NOW?
He's saying he's for eminent domain, funding Planned Parenthood, wants a single payer health care system, likes government subsidies, He's saying hell make deals with Democrats.

What's not for the democrat base to like????

Born agains - those who actually practice their faith, all went for Cruz.

In other words, there aren't enough true Christians to vote for Dominionist heretic and liar Ted Cruz.

Looks like Sen. Cruz will end up becoming Donald Trump’s VP choice.

Those who said they were Christians but don’t practice it went for Trump. (It’s a “Number 2 Corinthians” thing.)

You’re not going to get Cruz elected dog catcher with that attitude. Nobody likes a mean holier than thou politican and that is exact what Cruz & his supporters are exuding right now. I’ll buy you a clue: this entitled attitude is why he is losing.

The numbers were broken down. Of the dem crossovers, 33% went to Trump, 30% split between rubio and Cruz and the rest spread out over the others.

On my pad or I’d find you the link

Trust me, I'm here, that's not what happened. Every demographic voted for Trump.

That's what I said. Democrat Demographics that Republicans do not ordinarily get, voted for Trump.

That's what gave him such a high tally.

Well, they didn’t go for Cruz, so they are either Jesus-Hating Commies, or the Progressives used the Orbital Mind Control Lasers on them. /s

You are behaving like the Cruz campaign.

Staging a truth of yesterday as if it were remotely true today. That is still a lie by omission, of truth today.

It distorts, misrepresents and lies against truth as it is held today.
