Like Perot, Trump is a billionaire who will help elect a Clinton by hurting the Republican nominee.

First the nomination. Then we get into the Presidential election! Personally I believe Hillary will get Schlonged by Trump.

I find most college polls are worthless. Then again NBC/WSJ was in a class all its own.

Trump easily tops GOP rivals, but not Clinton or Sanders

Such is my worry.

I have heard quite a few indies and even GOPers say they would never vote for Mister trump in the general.

I would, but sadly trump is a loser of a general election candidate.

Carter was up on Reagan by 20 points at this time in 1980

Once Trump starts an all out assault on Hillary, she’ll crumble much like Jeb Bush.

Hillary has provided endless ammunition to be used against her in the general matchup. I also would believe that many disaffected bernie voters will end up voting Trump.

The only good thing you can say about our prospects with Trump is that although he consistently loses he’s at least within 10 points.

Elon Poll: Trump easily tops GOP rivals, but not Clinton or Sanders

SO WHAT? The poll is completely meaningless. Trump will fight back whereas another GOP nominee would play nice. Anyone who believes Trump would lose to either Democrat has shit for brains.

GW Bush was down 12 points to Kerry at this point in 2004. But you keep pushing this “electable” myth. Gives you something to do and keeps you of trouble.

Gee, which candidate has been hammered by the media and political etites for the last six months. Trump. Which candidate do the elites fear the most. Trump. Pay no heed to these pre reality matchup polls as they are useless..

“The Progressive Pulse is a nonpartisan blog about the issues, debates, and people that affect North Carolina public policy. As with the organization that sponsors it, NC Policy Watch, its ultimate objective is to improve the quality of life in the state by advancing policy solutions that help bring about social, political and economic justice. NC Policy Watch does not endorse or oppose candidates for political office.

The Progressive Pulse welcomes the contributions of interested people of all points of view provided they are of a reasonable length, have some relevance to issues of North Carolina public policy and abide by the common rules of online etiquette (i.e., please avoid inappropriate language and show a measure of respect for others –even the John Locke Foundation). To post a comment, simply click the comment line then provide your name and email. Your email address will not be collected or shared. If you would like to be contributing writer, please send your post to info@ncpolicywatch.com with ‘blog’ in the subject line. If the post meets with our criteria (has a progressive perspective and is relative to our state), we will publish it.”

Consider the source. ALSO, there is essentially a three man race here and each group has people who claim they never would vote for any of the other two candidates. Once the smoke clears and the chips are down, hopefully conservative Republicans don’t pull the “purity test” and shoot themselves in the foot like they did in 2008 and 2012. I will vote for an support any of the GOP candidates currently running to keep Hillary, Sanders, Biden, Warren or any other Democrat freak away from the White House.

Liars! Trump is leading, Hillary may use her evil doers to steal the nomination from Bernie, but we will not permit her to steal it from Trump!
