Are we looking at our idols’ halos or are we trying to figure out what will really happen?
I see no reason that Trump would not make mince meat out of either Hillary, OR Bernie. I’d be afraid of Cruz trying something too clever by half, once more.

Against Clinton, Trump loses by 4.7 points. Against Sanders, he loses by 9.7 points.
