Rubio, yes. Cruz, no. Cruz is an open book, he says where he stands on things and by God, his actions follow. Like it or not.
Then they are all stupid. If you miss that you are trying to delay that it’s easier to get around that.
See you don’t remember very well. Remember all the lying democrats and GOPe’s that said they wanted a way for them to come out of the shadows and it’s not about getting new liberal voters? So Cruz said ok, since we all agree on legalization then let’s just do that and never allow citizenship. Then the cockroaches went crazy trying to avoid the light he just shined on them.
And anyone with commonsense knows what cruz just did...in fact, the liberals hated him for it and said he doesn’t really want legalization but he wants to stop them from being citizens. So Cruz obviously had to say “Oh now I want more than anything for them to be legal so let’s just do that and not allow citizenship”. He knew they’d run for the hills and he was right. That’s EXACTLY as I remember it at the time.
BTW: I’m not thrilled with Cruz though either. I was pissed about TPP/TPA and hated on him during that fiasco. Since I keep current on issues I don’t need the liars in the press to spin it for me years later.
Yeah give Obama what he wants a Supreme Court Justice for the next quarter century. I don't think so. Nope.
I would hope all supporters of every GOP candidate would unite to help prevent Obama from nominating Justice Scalia's replacement.
This is too important to be divided.
Mmmhmmmm, and what did Cruz say in December? "I have never supported legalization."

The bill passed the Senate. No one in the entire country was confused about what the Democrats were doing.

You can, and should, if they lie to you, publically, as well as the entire senate. Anything less would be cowardly, and Cruz is not cowardly. This is the behavior everyone on here is calling for, except when Cruz does it. Only Trump can do that.

If the media knows this directly they will go full pressure and force McConnell to do what he wants anyway. I guess it’s too late now.

Just because he said that in a way to kill the gang of 8 amnesty bill doesn’t mean he was for it. I swear...and yet Trump can give money to Hillary and that’s fine. geesh.
McConnell is going to fold anyway. He’s just doing this for sound bites, but he’ll work a deal to get something for his family from Schumer and then approve the nominee. He’s a crook just like Harry Reid.
Because it's not actually true, and, furthermore, he supported legalization even after the gang of eight fight was over anyway, so it doesn't matter.
That is a sickening, yet accurate reminder of reality.
Sorry Trumpster, but I was watching it very closely during the time and even had a liberal to argue with about what was going on. Cruz was brilliant in his strategy, and further more, he pulled it off.
I had salad tonight and it was good.
If candidates get an opening statement they should extended condolences and then vow to honor Scalia’s legacy by opposing any effort to let Obama nominate a replacement.
