That’s true there isn’t.
Whether that’s WISE to do is another issue.
The only offense ought to be that personally of Jesus Christ. Any other offense is just so much more garbage obscuring the gospel.
Think it is coming. USAG Lynch’s statement and retraction re: speak ill of islam or the prophet is what *they* would like to do.
The lbgqt (or whatever) will be asking for protection from speech and specifically to ministers and Christians.
This is just a tip in the scheme of their intentions.

That group do not know the meaning of tolerance.
Which explains why we welcome trials, another concept the world does not understand.
Even the “Christian” world, which keeps on whining about them. Rather than “Bring it on devil, I will turn your proverbial red tights into confetti.”
Romans 5:3-5
It’s a contrarian point of view, and contrarian with a “YEE HAW” in it (to use cowboy lingo).
To get a high level in confidence in this makes you look (and feel) something like Rocky.
Nothing else could have kept a fellow like Paul going around like he did, or indeed any of the genuine apostles.
And so I kind of sadly chuckle at fellows complaining about getting persecution for a street presentation on venereal diseases. Kind of inching up on the subject so, so cautiously. Rather than something like “JESUS LOVES FOOLS LIKE US” or equally audacious. Go for the gold, not the copper.
Insane. I’m writing letters tomorrow.
They should not have settled this matter without a pay out from the campus police.
Offense is a funny thing. For a person to be offended takes a conscious act on their part. First, they must assume that there is an offense being offered. Secondly, they must assume that offense is intentional.
And finally, having made the first two assumptions, they must then take up the offense and hold it to themselves while demanding satisfaction. People must FIND offense, as in, “I found your last column to be offensive.” Then, having found it, they must embrace that offense, it cannot be forced on them from the outside.
That is why the word ‘offense’ is preceded by the verb ‘take’ by the offendee.

First of all!!!
Thanks for a reply in *English* that I understand!!!!
I find a lot of things to be disgusting, revolting and obnoxious but haven’t yet (maybe tomorrow) tried to have someone arrested for it.
Mindset? Looking to be *offended*?

Pause the video at 1:00. The female cop has pattern baldness. Weird.
The University of Texas needs to have its state funding cut, and diverted to other universities actually interested in teaching their students respect for history, free speech, and law that every citizen needs to have in a free country.
LOL!!
Thanks, jmo but think the officers had previous instruction to do what the did.
Agree some sort of correction is needed.
Thought Universities were to be a place where ideas were to be debated. Free speech and not indoctrination.
My oldest child went to North Texas State as a Christian and came out .............not sure where. Just not biblically inclined.

You have also completely missed or disregarded Lurkers point.
It is not required for a Christian to forsake his civil rights, especially when doing so imperils the ability to express Christianity.
There always is a hierarchy where divine duties supersede civil rights. Always.
“There always is a hierarchy where divine duties supersede civil rights”
That’s right. Jesus said “don’t ever stand up for your rights” at least a dozen times. It’s right there in the Bible.
Oh wait....

Actually He did, in the form of “Turn the other cheek” and similar sentiments, sometimes lived out too.
You make it too easy. Try to oppose me on something substantial.
