Cruz supporters have been working nonstop trying to convince me not to support him in the general since at least July. What of it?

Everyone is calling Millhouse Cruz a liar.

Rubio , Jeb, Huck, Doc Carson, Christie, Trump all call Cruz a liar.

I say he just can’t remember things he doesn’t want us to know about him. Like Mercer the hedge fund guy who IRS says owes billions Head Cruz superpac.

Like Cruz forgot to put 2 half million dollar loans conveniently off his MANDATORY DISCLOSURE FORM. From Wall street banks.

Like he was Canadian? OH come on now.

Ask Doc Carson if he believes Cruz on Caucusgate.

What if I told you people don’t want presidential anymore?

<><><><

Then we would not be able to choose between Trump or Cruz based on that criteria, that is, if we listen to the supporters of each.

Cruz’s supporters believe that Trump is a foul mouthed braggart which is unpresidential.

Trump’s supporters think Cruz is a liar which is also unpresidential.

And this Twitter crap by Trump is why I won't vote for him in the primaries.

I've had 7+ years of a nasty mouthed President....I have "nasty fatigue". Trump doesn't seem to understand the difference between defining policies/positions and just calling names like a 1st grader.

BTW, this is a TRUE statement: "Cruz said that while both oppose gay marriage they've called the Supreme Court ruling legalizing gay marriage the "law of the land."

I've heard Rubio AND Trump state that as it was now the law of the land, we had to, in essence, get over it, even if we didn't like it.

Cruz has long pushed that what the Supreme Court did was ILLEGAL and "judicial activism.". Cruz says it "won't stand"....so yeah, there is a DIFFERENCE in their positions.

-- Where exactly did he do that. --

In his own words at the top of thread, to name one place.

Cruz is a global warming denier ... unlike Trump.

-- You equate "ugly" with "honest". --

I do not, and did not.

-- So what's your point? --

That the campaign efforts are ugly, and will continue to be so. If asked who started it, I'd say Cruz.

So, since Cruz has tried to get money from gay business backers, would it be equally as true to say that if you support Cruz, then you support gay “marriage”?

Cruz’s refusal to take a principled stand against gay marriage shows he’s quite comfortable with the homosexual lifestyle.

You have no proof. You have allegations, misrepresentations, associations, and smears.

How do you figure he hasn’t taken a principled stand against it?

Team Cruz gone quiet on that issue. Cruz seems quite comfortable being in violation of the law and hasn’t filed amended FEC documents.

Cruz (says he) is opposed to eminent domain. In January, Cruz attacked Trump on eminent domain. I suppose this has already been posted, from “Brietbart”:

“And Ted also supports eminent domain for the Keystone Pipeline that a private company is building. Oil is subsidized and has been for years. Cruz has at least $365,000 in oil/gas company investments and at least $50,000 of that is in Plains GP Holdings, a company that transports oil and gas liquids.

So Ted Cruz stands to make money on the Keystone Pipeline. In addition, Cruz has gotten $25 million in oil super pac money and over $952,000 in oil campaign contributions.

Cruz SCREAMS against Crony Capitalism publicly all the while taking the cronies money and buying into the cronies deals.”

And this from the “Texas Tribune”:

“To Julia Trigg Crawford, the attack sounded odd coming from Cruz, who didn’t speak out when TransCanada, a Canadian pipeline company, invoked eminent domain to build part of the Keystone XL pipeline through her 600-acre farm on the Texas side of the Red River. Instead, Cruz supported the company’s effort.

‘It certainly seems incongruous to me, the northeast Texan said. ‘He is allowing a FOREIGN corporation for a FOR-PROFIT pipeline to take land from more American citizens
against their will.’” (emphasis mine)

I think this was to transport tar sands oil to be refined at two Texas refineries and sold overseas to increase THEIR profits. It wouldn’t lower any Texan’s gasoline bill or provide any long-term jobs for Texans. But he didn’t stand up for the interests of Texas landowners.

lodi90 is lying about Cruz. Trumpbots are desperate, so desperate that they prop up their candidate by lying about Cruz.

Tricky Teddy says gay marriage should be decided at the state level. Nothing principled about that career politican beltway two step.

Trump calls (X) a (X)!

There is simply nothing too vile or profane for Trump to call an opponent and this is just February.

Rand Paul destroyed Ted Cruz at the last debate on the issue of Ted lying. Rand, as best I can tell, is an honest man. I have not known him to lie. Below are Pauls' comments at the debate on Cruz.

PAUL: I was there and I saw the debate. I saw Ted Cruz say, "we'll take citizenship off the table, and then the bill will pass, and I'm for the bill."

The bill would involve legalization. He can't have it both ways. But what is particularly insulting, though, is that he is the king of saying, "you're for amnesty." Everybody's for amnesty except for Ted Cruz.

But it's a falseness, and that's an authenticity problem -- that everybody he knows is not as perfect as him because we're all for amnesty. I was for legalization. I think, frankly, if you have border security, you can have legalization. So was Ted, but now he says it wasn't so. That's not true.

These Trump Twitter rants usually are a result of either some bad polling for the Donald or as a frenzied lead up to a debate...since Trump cannot engage with any other candidate on the merits of the issues facing the country, he always reverts to this girl-like tweeting behavior...PATHETIC!
