I have new respect for the Donald. I am a Cruz guy, but Donald speaks like a real man and citizen here.
It also doesn’t hurt his standing among those who aren’t supporting him. For whatever reason the vitriol that’s been seen ‘round here the past few months seems to have abated a bit and hopefully a rational conversation about the candidates can proceed. In nine months whoever the Democrats nominate must be defeated or we may as well turn off the lights for good.
Id like to add some prespective. Carrying a gun or owning guns doesnt make you pro-2ndA. Its a well know fact (exc here perhaps) that dems like guns too. They have no problem owning or using them. Their problem is that you can have them too. If Trump came out in unconditional support of general gun ownership without restriction that would be a far better indicator of his true views of the 2ndA. I think tho theres no past history with him to gauge any stmts he might make now.

As with liberals, Trump supporters only need to hear the right words. Actions and results are irrelevant.
Trump went skeet shooting with some friends once, and says that he carries a gun. He also as that he could shoot someone and his supporters would not change their vote.
