In news that should give both tomato-throwing protesters and his debate opponents pause, Donald Trump revealed to a French magazine that he always carries a gun on his person. The comment came in an interview with Valeurs Actuelles, which targets a very conservative audience in France.
His comments came in a discussion of the December terror attacks in Paris, where more than 120 people were killed and many more wounded by ISIS-inspired terrorists who targeted public spaces, including the Bataclan concert hall.

"The only people who had weapons were the killers," he said, calling it an "open bar for a massacre."
He added: "I always carry a weapon on me. If I'd been at the Bataclan or one of those bars, I would have opened fire. Perhaps I would have died, but at least I would have taken a shot. The worst thing is the powerlessness to respond to those who want to kill you," he said.
Trump has previously revealed that he holds a concealed-carry permit, and has said that he sometimes carries a gun. The claim that he now carries a weapon at all times seems to be new. Trump has a Secret Service detail protecting him at all times.
The magazine's cover features a picture of a gesticulating Trump, possibly at a campaign rally, with the headline "Trump Dit Tout" - Trump Tells All. It also carries a quote from the interview, in which Trump says to the people of Europe, "You're going to be facing real revolutions."

Much of the interview focused on the question of immigration, which is roiling Europe as refugees from the carnage in Syria and other trouble spots in North Africa and the Middle East flood into the continent. France, in particular, has struggled with a large population of African immigrants, many of them Muslim, who have been both victims and perpetrators of violence and hate crimes.
Trump also pointed to Germany, where Chancellor Angela Merkel's open-door policy to Syrian refugees has led to both a deluge of asylum-seekers and massive public pushback.
"My German friends no longer know where they are. They can't believe their eyes about what is happening...they're desperate," Trump said.
"What's happening in Europe can lead to its collapse. It's dramatic what she has allowed to happen, this flood," he said, and predicted that if the problem is not addressed immediately, "then yes, it's the end of Europe."

The man who constantly promises that as president he would "Make America great again," also seem to think that France needs the same treatment.
"Unfortunately," he said, "France isn't what it was, nor Paris."

I can be pretty safe to presume DT would not work to cripple/remove the same option of We the People.
For the other two?
I’d like to hear (see?) the same. But, I’m not holding my breath for me to finally hear they actually rely upon OTHERS (security). That would give me pause on their 2nd stance(s); as most career politicians are want to do.
Depends upon whether it’s a NY permit or a federal permit.
The only federal permit I am aware of is for law enforcement officers.

I do believe that if all states have to recognize homosexual marriage licenses issued in other states then all states have to recognize concealed carry permits issued in other states.
Unfortunately, the actual text of the Constitution, the intent of its drafters, logic, common sense, precedent, and the previously accepted rules of statutory construction are all now utterly irrelevant.
The Constitution now says whatever the Hell five out of nine Supreme Court Justices currently want it to say. IMHO, this is the primary issue in the election.
Four sitting Supreme Court Justices will be over 80 years old this year (Kennedy, Scalia, Ginsburg and Breyer). Of the remaining five Justices, two are young far left-wing Obama appointees who will be legislating from the bench for the next 30 to 40 years (Sotomayor and Kagan), two are reliable conservatives (Thomas and Alito) and the other is a flipper (Roberts).
I am betting that Obama will get to replace at least one of the octogenarian Justices (Ginsburg) and possibly two (Breyer) before he leave office. Ginsburg will step down immediately after the current Court term and if at least a couple of RINOs join with the Democrats to confirm Obama’s far left-wing replacement then Breyer will announce his retirement so that Obama will get to pick his far left-wing replacement as well. That would leave only two octogenarian Justices (Scalia and Kennedy) for the next President to replace, and four young, reliable far left-wing Justices firmly planted on the Court.
If any three of the four octogenarian Justices are replaced with liberals then a far left-wing oligarchy of Supreme Court Justices will rule over every aspect of our lives for the next generation to come. Say goodbye to the Second Amendment, free speech, and every other right that is currently hanging on by a 5 to 4 thread.
On the other hand, if three of the octogenarians are replaced with strict construction conservatives, then they can join with Thomas and Alito and reverse Roe, homosexual marriage, Obamacare, and every other liberal Supreme Court decree over the past 40 years.
So, our only chance is for the Republicans to hold on to the Senate AND for us to elect a Conservative President who will only nominate Conservative judges. If Chuckie Schumer controls the Senate OR if we elect a President who appoints liberal or moderate judges, then our nations is well and truly screwed.
