I agree and until it is settled law on what represents NBC then it is akin to a fart in the wind, people hear it but when it is down wind no one really cares. Did the courts take up the multiple challenges on Obambi having a non citizen father at the time of his birth? Anyone harping the fact Rubio’s parents were not citizens at the time of his birth? A purist says born of Citizen parents on American soil. Others claim born on American period irrespective of parental position. More state born abroad of at least one citizen parent.

It is still the unknown until fully ruled upon by SCOTUS in our time.

I agree with both your points.

Mark Levin has bitterly condemned Orin Hatch for his betrayal of the promises Hatch made on Levin's show and Levin as even called him a liar. Levin says that's why he supported Hatch to Levin's sorrow.

I agree with you entirely concerning Levin's treatment of callers, it is disgraceful. He indulges in the worst habit of criticizing the caller after he has unilaterally terminated the conversation and the caller no longer has an opportunity to defend himself. He interrupts and cuts callers off whether he agrees with them or not because it seems that he wants to make himself appear infallible.

I understand Bill Bennett will soon be concluding his radio career but if there is anyone who knows how to handle callers it is Bill Bennett. Bennett is not the same kind of ideologue as is Levin, as a matter of fact he is an establishment Rino, but he knows how to deal decorously with callers and guests.

Levin ought to keep in mind that the callers he abuses are people whose telephone calls Levin has solicited.

Levin joined up with the Glenn Beck kook crowd, that was the end of him since then, you watch it unfold, and Westwood One which also sponsors Michael Savage just announced Savage is number one setting a new record. I predict Levin will lose listener ship, he is already behind the giants such as Savage, it doesn’t matter if he as some long term contract. Anyway, he has heart problems and will fall over soon, I think Westwood One knows that, it is not like Westwood One loves Levin or anything, they sponsor a lot of radio talk show hosts, like I said Savage is one as well who has more listeners than Levin and after Trump gets the nomination Levin is probably going to have his heart attack because his entire Beckism and fixation on hating Trump is really about his jealousy of Michael Savage who Levin has been trying to trash but has failed to catch up with Savage nor will he ever catch up. Yes, at one time he was a good spokesperson against amnesty, now he is only about jealousy of other talk show hosts and he has let his fixated nature and deep ulcer like personal vendettas turn into a toadie of some Beck cult thing that he is going to regret big time as he lays in bed with heart problems and inflammation that is the end of it all.

The thing that most people that have turned on him are upset about is this.

Levin constantly attacked George Will for not disclosing the fact that Will’s wife was a paid campaign staffer for Scott walker while he was in the race, while failing to disclose that HIS OWN future son-in-law is a paid campaign staffer for ted Cruz.

Some people might not find that hypocritical but apparently a lot of others do. Myself included.

Levin is brilliant with many excellent books. His voice is scratchy and his yelling gets old. I prefer Bryan Suits on KFI who is calm, paints the picture just as black as Levin, but stays calm, since he is a trained soldier.

What is "our time" Jarhead9297? Is 1939, Perkins v. Elg before our time" Minor v. Happersett was cited in 1939 to correct the U.S. Attorney about Marie Elg, born in NY to recently naturalized Swedish parents. Marie was returned to Sweden when dad got a good job offer. Dad repudiated his U.S. citizenship (which may have been required by Swedish Law), and mom followed a while later, with little Marie. Marie was stopped when she tried to return to her birth country when she reached majority (21 years or thereabouts). Marie was denied entry. The resulting law suit went to the Supreme Court. The decision, by Chief Justice Charles Evans Hughes affirmed that Marie was a natural born citizen, a status granted by God which could not be denied by men - Congress. "Marie, if she chooses, can run for the presidency after 14 years and attaining the age of 35." (paraphrase) The bottom line is Levin keeps an audience. His shtick is "constitutional originalism", even though he loudly dismisses anyone who doubts that Winston Churchill, like Cruz, born to an American citizen mother and alien father, and born on other than U.S. soil, was eligible to have run for the U.S. presidency.

Mark is a hypocrite, but, like Cruz, addresses lots of issues relevant to many, myself included. He is either a liar, or has little real knowledge of constitutional law, as confirmed by Obama and Cruz' constitutional law professor, Larry Tribe. Tribe said recently, in a Boston Globe op-ed, that Cruz battled him frequently, always taking the position of constitutional originalism. Tribe, and his other ward Obama, believe in a "living Constitution", changeable at the whim of someone or other when the need is perceived. But now Cruz and Levin are claiming that the naturalization amendment, the 14th, whose author clearly spelled out the Vattel, Marshall, Washington, Paine, Hamilton, understanding of the interpretation of natural born citizenship, are claiming that Cruz was made a natural born citizen by Congress's - man's and not God's - 14th Amendment, described by its authors as emanating from Article 1 Section 8, "an Uniform Rule for Naturalization.

Originalist Levin prefers not to discuss Wong Kim Ark, 1895, in which Wong Kim, born in San Francisco to "domiciled" alien parents, parents who would naturalize if China allowed it, and certainly protected by U.S. laws, was defined as a "citizen". Minor v. Happersett's precedent was cited and quoted so there could be no confusion. Wong Kim was not a natural born citizen, but, like former slaves, Wong Kim's children, born on our soil, providing Wong Kim married a woman who was a citizen when the children were born, would be natural born. Does Mark have some skeleton's in his closet? I suspect we will never know, but it was clear that he would never discuss the eligibility issue as he boasted, with anyone knowledgeable.

All this continues to raise the question "For what reason are so many who do know the law supporting ineligible candidates? Every Senator signed Senate Resolution 511 in 2008, sponsored by Obama supporters to claim McCain didn't really have the problem the Democrats had so thoroughly exposed during the previous seven years? Larry Tribe wrote some clever legal subterfuge for that resolution, which could and possibly did serve as an exercise for law students in misdirection. One guess is that if Cruz were to be the Republican Candidate, and Rubio or Haley or Jindal the VP candidate, and anyone, Trump or Clinton or Sanders, were to challenge the eligibility of Cruz and his VP, article II Section 1 Clause 6 tells us that Congress has the authority to designate who serves. How about George Soros for president and Huma Abedin as his VP. How about Wahhabi convert John Brennan, now CIA director, and Chelsea Clinton as VP? Congress seems to have lots of latitude in deciding how to choose the permanent replacement.

Both parties colluded to allow Obama to remain in office, after Obama never claimed to be a natural born citizen, unlike Cruz, who has clearly reinterpreted Minor v. Happersett, Wong Kim Ark, Perkins v. Elg, and a dozen or so other interpretations, along with John Bingham's clear explanation to Congress that natural born citizenship's definition has never been doubted, born on our soil to parents who were citizens, or Bingham's reiteration which stressed the meaning stated by Vattel, "...of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty".

Who really is running our political parties? Why do our parties collude to insure that, unlike Mexico, which takes great care to assure its citizens that the voting franchise has legitimacy, while our voting systems are less transparent than Obama's "cauterized" passport files, and permit no audit trail? Who counts our votes, if they are counted at all? The SEIU manages tabulating hardware. There is absolutely no way to review how many voted or for whom. Whether or not we trust that most people are honest, our freedoms were built upon representation, and without trustworthy voting systems, like Mexico's or Germany's and Israel's, all of whom still use, or have returned to paper ballots, our votes are meaningless. If voting data were to be provided to our FDA as a record of analytic procedures, the FDA would not accept it, a fact this writer learned from experience. Thank goodness for an FDA with integrity. Unfortunately, and as George Soros understands well, our secretaries of state, since states are responsible for tabulation, are corruptible. If no one insists, and no one does, their oversight is a joke, as Allen West learned. Have you ever heard Cruz or Levin address this most critical cleavage in our un-representative government?

I like the way Mark has proven that Ted Cruz is a Natural Born Citizen. His Constitutional/historical argument goes like this: “Get off my phone, you big dope!” This was the same argument Mark used on his show to prove that Obama was a Natural Born Citizen, and that the “birth certificate” was real.

Well a person has to know about it before they can complain about it. Your snarky comment is really disingenuous. The moment I heard he was born in Canada I complained about it. A person born in Canada is a Canadian, notwithstanding his dual American citizenship that his mother did not apply for until Ted Cruz was sixteen years old.

I would like to see a copy of those citizenship documents from our State Department. If his mother had waited only two more years Ted Cruz would have been denied American Citizenship at all. Sure was lucky Ted Cruz had that school trip so his mother had a reason to apply then.

Ted Cruz is 45 years old and only thought to renounce is Canadian citizenship in 2014 when he decided to run for President. That makes him an opportunistic Ivy League lawyer that also happens to be ineligible to become our President.

I see, so a man born to an American mother abroad in another country is not NBC? Yet McCain yes ( regardless of circumstance), Rubio whose parents were not even citizens at the time of his birth yes, Obama whose father was not a citizen yes. Dare I also say Andrew Jackson had two immigrant parents, Thomas Jefferson, Buchannan, Chester Aurther, Woodrow Wilson, Herbert Hoover. See this list is quite long and no it isn’t snarky but spot on. Someone who is behind another because it most favors their positions then bails on that conservative to jump aboard a populous movement to the extent of supporting an avowed liberal then circle back and dive bomb said conservative when it was never an issue before was never conservative to begin with and yes an opportunist. My point stands as far as I’m concerned he is the most American of any of the cantidates. Hell id vote Bibi as more American than the circus act playing out this election cycle. Trump has become the reality and we the show. I stand with conservatives not fly by night celebutants. While it was entertaining and needed what Trump has brought he has done it in a way for the dummies in the nation to understand while those such as Cruz have been fighting this fight far longer with far more consistency.
