U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz is bolstering his home-field advantage with fewer than three weeks until the Texas primary, unveiling a raft of new endorsements from lawmakers in Austin and detailing his organization across the state for the March 1 nominating contest.
Cruz's presidential campaign is set to announce Thursday that he now has the support of nearly half the Republicans in the Texas Legislature: 11 senators and 43 representatives. The newly expanded Texas Leadership Team also includes 57 chairs and co-chairs covering Texas' 36 congressional districts, as well as 462 chairs and co-chairs across the state's 254 counties.

Well if he can’t carry his home state he may as well quit
That I agree with!
Pretty much. I’d laugh if he lost to Trump, or even if it’s within 5 points.
I’m relatively sure Cruz will win Texas, as I think that was kind of his primary audience for the “New York values” comments, and it’s probably effective. It was an effective marketing strategy for barbecue sauce, anyway. :D
Senator Cruz.....we got your back here in Texas!!!!!!
Early voting in TX starts Tuesday.
Amen!
He’s out for the 50% threshold. If he reaches that, Texas becomes a winner-take-all state, and he becomes unstoppable.
The Canadian cowboy rides again. Canada, it like a whole other country. ;-)
Texas is not New York City.
Thanks be to God.
How is that Houston mayor working out for you. Stop with the “Texas is holier than thou” delusions.
Texas is about to have huge layoffs because of the collapse of oil.
A lot of voters in Texas will vote Trump to turn the economy around. The layoffs are already happening. The collapse is coming faster, not slower, and will impact the primary. You watch. A lot will vote Trump.
You are not going to like this, but, it was a Texas case that brought forth a constitutional right for pervert marriage....
I strongly supported Ted to be my Senator. I don’t support him to be my President.
Texan for Trump.
Why? All you have is Trump’s word that he’s going to do what he says he’s going to do, with no conservative record to back up his campaign promises. With Ted Cruz, you have a 97%-100% conservative/pro-liberty voting record of him backing up his words with deeds. Why on earth would you risk your vote on Trump? I could see voting for him in the general if it is Trump vs. Hitlery or Sanders. But in the primary, c’mon.
That coming from someone in California? Thanks buddy, I will take it for what it is worth.
But why would they vote for Trump over Cruz with respect to oil. Ted Cruz is totally pro-energy, and he comes from an oil state no less. That makes no sense.
California Presidents - Reagan, Nixon
Texas Presidents, LBJ, Bush.
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
you were talking trash about a Houston Mayor and now want to talk about presidents? Dude, I don't have enough time to spend the effort to talk about the elected folks in you state of California. Fly well my FRiend, maybe you can find another Texan to egg on, not me.
