America Trumped (Trump is the anti-Obama in every way)
American Spectator ^ | STEPHEN MOORE

Posted on 02/11/2016 8:53:26 AM PST by RoosterRedux

Tuesday night was a moment off clarification. We learned two things about election 2016:

First, Trump is a political force of nature and, though not unstoppable, is in a commanding position to win the GOP nomination. For all the talk about who among the governors and Senators who got 12 percent and 11 percent and 10 percent, Trump won more of the vote than Bush, Rubio, and Cruz combined.

As Rich Lowry of National Review points out, "Trump won nearly every demographic group. Old and young. Rich and poor."

Second, Hillary is the Walking Dead. She isn't going to president.

Democrats are as glum as can be today, because the realization is setting in that they are going to nominate someone as likable to voters as Michael Dukakis. Tuesday's vote was a resounding rejection by 60 percent of Democrats of Saint Hillary.

Quick: What is Hillary's message? A third Obama term? Voters overwhelmingly don't want that. She's reinvented herself so many times she has no convictions at all.

Meanwhile, Trump surges. His splendid victory speech last night, was all about love of country -- about patriotism.

It is striking that Trump is the anti-Obama in every way. Obama blames America first for every problem on the earth, from global warming to terrorism. Trump emanates love for America and pledges to "make America great again."

Obama hates business. Trump runs businesses.

Obama is a pessimist. Trump is an optimist.

Obama is an elitist. Trump is a populist.

Obama is a college professor and a community organizer. Trump is a job creator and a profit maker.

Pure made up nonsense without a shred of evidence to support it.

Glad you love your candidate, please stop shamelessly lying about the other candidates.

You say.

I know what you mean about Obama, he has demonstrated a willingness to dictate. But Trump has indicated that he would go with the Congress approach. Except for rescinding Obama’s EOs You are not against Trump doing that are you?

If this is true how to you account for Trumps initial full support of Obama?

was he duped by hope and change?

What caused it?

I get so tired of seeing that in print. Obama was never a college professor.

There’s the rub.

Well, if Trump becomes potus, maybe we can at least get a nice autobahn out of it.

Anti-Obama but not in every way. They both have dictator spirits.

That's ridiculous. Beyond ridiculous really.

Not exactly.

Obama is a pessimist, Trump is an optimist? The comparison must be made between them when Obama was a candidate. Remember the promises? The hope? the change? And Obama mercilessly bashed the elitists and those in power. Obama changed after he was elected.

Obama is an elitist, Trump is a populist? Again, Obama was elected by a populist movement. Pop culture was obsessed with him. Obama showed elitism after he was elected.

The Trump you see now is not the President Trump you will see if elected.

I would agree that Trump and Obama are very similar, but not in a dictatorship sort of way.

All that hope and change adoration that we say Obama getting in 2008, that we could not fathom and believe?

I understand it now as I see our side praising and lifting Trump up as the only chance America has.

Is there that much difference in a blind belief between hope and change for an Obama Phone and “Trump’s gonna build that wall!”?

The Trump you see now is not the President Trump you will see if elected.

Maybe...... I don’t think anyone knows for sure what he will do

Suppose Congress moves to the left and more Liberals are elected or suppose Republicans don’t want to work with Trump.

He proposes his wall on our southern border and it is not enacted into law . Suppose the courts rule against what he wants to do.
What will Trump do then?

no one knows
