Is it the same focus group that said that Rubio won the debate?

Nope...very interesting and eye opening focus group. They almost all think that Trump is going to win, but by the same token the almost all say they are voting for Ted Cruz!

I set up a focus group in South Carolina as well. They are 100% for Trump. My focus group consists of my parents who live in the Myrtle Beach area where Trump has done very well with turnout for rallies and such.

I just think it’s fascinating that they all think Trump is going to win, and yet they all say they are voting for Ted Cruz. I have a feeling the polls are all going to be way out of wack down there.

Focus groups are useless...ask President Romney

So, they assemble a group of people, and essentially cast Trump in a negative light, and then badger them about it.

The last poll taken in late January has Trump up by 16 points. He’s going into SC with a lot of momentum from his huge, lopsided victory in NH.

He turned out 5,000 people on a cold night last night, while Cruz turned out 200.

Trump out performed his poll numbers in NH by 4 points.

It’s interesting to note that while campaigning in NH Trump took time off to campaign elsewhere, plus lost a day due to a snow storm. He was roundly condemned for having done so, but he was confident of his ability to win. Now, Trump is taking 2 days to campaign in Louisiana and Florida, before returning to stage at least 4 big events in SC.

He’s going to win, and win big.

I, too, did my own focus group here in Ohio. The bowling league I surveyed were all for Trump. My sister and her famiuly (quite large) in TN are all for Trump. Funny, how that works, huh? I didn’t pay them either.

Yeah, polls aren't really worth much.

But, taking from Iowa and who Ted is working hard to attract, is there enough evangelical support down there to push him over?

Ted has stuck to his Christian base as we saw once again at his Myrtle Beach rally. One would think South Carolina would be a pretty close race between Trump & Cruz.

We'll see.

In contrast, it's disgusting to see what the Dems are doing with their delegates and shows how corrupt they are.

They must NOT win in November. Trump or Cruz 2016

Hey, what ever happened to the Breitbart press release that was supposed to ruin Cruz after the NH Primary ?

Choose Cruz !

As we saw in Iowa, large crowds don’t necessarily mean your going to win.

And let’s not forget, Ted Cruz also out performed the polls in Iowa by 4 points.

And in New Hampshire, Ted took third without even trying (only spent five hundred thousand, least number of days campaigning, etc).

Having said that, I definitely think Ted Cruz has the advantage in the Bible Belt, regardless of what the polls say right now.

Considering that Cruz insulted the state of New Hampshire, it would be interesting to see what their spin would be if they lose South Carolina as well.

Scottie Hughes was on SiruisXM last night who was along side Cruz during his Senate run said the spin coming out of the New Hampshire loss was terrible and didn't sound like Cruz.

Not sure who Cruz is listening to but declaring the reason you lost is due to how liberal a state is just isn't sound strategy.

Trump’s adds of becoming president have gone through the roof because the stock market is now collapsing and probably going down another 50% by November. This also bodes very badly for the economy.

Trump has been screaming about these issues and the other candidates all now sound like Trump mini me’s.

Cruz is trying to burn the candle at both ends - either Wall Street or Main Str4eet will be deceived sooner or later, and I guarantee you - it won’t be Wall Street. Main Street will get the good ole heave ho. Follow the millions.
