Gavin Seim, coordinator of the livestream from the FBI siege in Oregon last night.
It all started coming down around 4:30 pm Oregon time yesterday when David Fry was on his daily ATV ride around the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge headquarters when the FBI tried to stop him and armored vehicles moved in close to the camp in the parking lot (Camp Finicum).
Agents were yelling at the four people still there (David Fry, Jeff Banta, Sean and Sandy Anderson) to give up.
The FBI claimed to the media last night that their actions were for 'safety' reasons mentioning Fry's use of the ATV.
Another 'traffic stop' one might call it like when LaVoy Finicum was shot and killed.
My sense based on the timing and a report from "OregonLive" last night that the FBI had begun occupying the refuge headquarters buildings near the parking lot on Tuesday, closing in on the four, was that the FBI was fearing the impending arrival of Cliven Bundy in Oregon.
THE EVIDENCE OF THAT FEAR IS THE FACT THAT WHEN CLIVEN BUNDY ARRIVED IN PORTLAND LAST NIGHT, HE WAS ARRESTED AND PUT IN JAIL.
The federal government was forced to retreat in 2014 during the standoff at Mr. Bundy's Nevada ranch. Hundreds of Bureau of Land Management agents were forced to retreat and give up hundreds of head of cattle they has seized from Cliven Bundy. Bundy was supported by a large contingent of militia in that fight.
"Come out with your hands up" could be heard as David Fry's friend Gavin Seim launched a livestream just after 8pm Eastern last night. Fry got a phone call out as the trouble began in spite of FBI jamming.
The FBI director told Congress this week they still haven't opened the cellphone of one of the San Bernadino terrorists. Why are they wasting their time in Oregon dealing with people exercising their First and Second Amendment rights and not acting at all like those terrorists did in San Bernadino?
Seim has been actively supporting his friend David Fry and the others from the refuge who were arrested and jailed, calling them 'political prisoners'.
Early in the livestream the intensity of the words thrown back and forth was on full display as six armored vehicles approached to what David Fry said was 50 feet of their location. Calls from the FBI to 'put down your weapon' were met with words like 'go to hell' and other even more profane comments.
Later on prayer was part of the livestream, along with a message from Victoria Sharp, the 18 year old girl who was in the truck when driver LaVoy Finicum was forced off the road and killed in an FBI led operation last month.
Sharp and her family sang a gospel song.
Nevada Assemblywoman Michele Fiore was also part of the interaction live on the phone promising to come to the siege site for what is being contemplated as a surrender at 11am Eastern, 8am in Oregon.
Rev. Franklin Graham is also reported involved in those plans.
I think the FBI may have decided to back off around 9 or 10 Oregon time last night because of the impending Cliven Bundy arrest. The SWAT team took him into custody at 10:10pm, some 15 minutes after the livestream shut down after 4 hours and 44 minutes....
You can see it at "GavinSeim" on You Tube. At its peak, there were over 67 thousand devices watching the stream, with other You Tubers and breakingnews.com among other places relaying. No doubt hundreds of thousands joined in some or all of the stream.
There are expectations of a surrender at Camp Finicum (their site in the parking lot) by the remaining four (David Fry, Jeff Banta, Sean and Sandy Anderson) later this morning.
The Cliven Bundy arrest is not likely to help that process.
God help us all to find the next right thing to do.
Why was Bundy arrested? Where are the Oathkeepers? The 111%? Did they oppose occupying the wildlife area?

If people are to be patriots, those willing to be so have to have some sort of critical mass. Otherwise, all you have are martyrs. Perhaps martyrs can give rise to patriots, but I am not overly optimistic.
Those groups opposed the occupation to begin with, then showed up in full gear with long guns, flak vests about a week later intimidating the media and creating bad video.
Their pitch was they were there to avoid another Waco from happening.
Ammon Bundy, leading the occupation, asked them to leave.
They were out on the perimeter patrolling but when LaVoy Finicum was killed and others arrested, when the FBI began setting up roadblocks the Oath Keepers, III Percenters, Pacific Patriots Network ran away ASAP.
At one point they lied about the four people inside claiming they were planning a “rescue mission” to bring the four out peacefully but that the four had “threatened to violently reist”. David Fry got a video out saying those people lying, the four did not communicate when them at all, much less make threats.
David Fry (one of the final four) also said PPN which includes Oath Keepers and the Idaho III Percenters was ‘compromised’. Fry was essentially saying they were working for the FBI in his mind, my theory is that they are a buffer to prevent any violence that would make the Republican Party look bad, they front for the GOP.
Interfering with a federal official....maybe they’ll get him into a grand jury or charge him with the events two years ago.

You don’t understand. This was the “wrong hill”.
If we don’t have the pure, correct, “right” to defend, it will not qualify for united protection. There can never be any ambiguity about the event.
There is a great divide even here that the participants in this event had the “wrong” motives and unclean hands.

After decades of sparring with them, Sioux War Chiefs Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse beat “The Feds” decisively at Little Big Horn” with “patience” more than anything else and they chose “their hill” for the fight, not the Feds.
Finnicum and Bundys “issue” may still be a good one but the “fight” in remote Harney County was the wrong place and the wrong time. Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse would agree.
