Hidden Report: Mexico Remittances Total More Than Entire Mexican Oil Revenue
theconservativetreehouse.com ^ | February 9

Posted on 02/10/2016 6:38:18 PM PST by Helicondelta

Remittances sent home by Mexicans working outside the country surpassed petroleum revenues in 2015 for the first time. There was a 4.75% increase in money sent from abroad, most of which comes from the U.S., to total US $24.8 billion last year, up from $23.6 billion in 2014, said the Bank of Mexico.

An important factor in the increase in remittances is the jobs created by economic recovery in the U.S. Some 11 million Mexicans are believed to be living in the U.S. and many work in construction. Remittances, 97% of which are sent electronically, averaged $292 last year.

We have reviewed Donald Trump's border security and immigration proposals. Happily, he, and those who advise him, appear to be right over the target.

Trump's proposal carries: the border wall solution, the employment solution, the enforcement mechanisms of current law, and another angle that is strategically essential. "WESTERN UNION REMITTANCES" (Money Services Compliance):

[...] Meanwhile, Mexico continues to make billions on not only our bad trade deals but also relies heavily on the billions of dollars in remittances sent from illegal immigrants in the United States back to Mexico ($22 billion in 2013 alone)

[...] Mexico must pay for the wall and, until they do, the United States will, among other things: impound all remittance payments derived from illegal wages; [page 2, paragraph 7]

These CLE’s intend to let Americans go without jobs, go bankrupt, starve and die.

They are like parasites and must be kept from political office by telling the truth.

Americans had better wake up and smell the crash.

I know, I know. I’m preaching to the choir.

This smirking chimp Jeb is a chip off his open-borders brother and NWO daddy.

Globally, over $125 billion a year goes from the US to the rest of the world. When less than one in 8 in this country is foreign-born, the highest in 105 years, lots of money exits this country rather than being spent on the local economy. One of the "benefits" of mass immigration.

Simple. Outlaw all wire transfers to Mexico from individuals. Easy to do and enforce. A lot of these people will go home when they can no longer send US dollars to Mexico.

Mexico is barely functioning, if we pull their lifeline, they would become a failed state on our border.
Think of the possibilities of our soft underbelly being exposed even more than it is now.

Screw it, lets make a profit and pay down some debt. 20% up front 80% when done.

In the town I live in you can walk into any bank and they have signs up that a person is limited to 5 transactions. They are cashing other people’s checks or sending multiple money orders or transferring between accounts. Our population is about 80% Hispanic and its nit uncommon to be the only white person in the bank.

That was Vicente Fox’s logic when he (successfully) pushed GW Bush to leave the border open; never mind the massive wealth transfer from untaxed dollars heading south of the border, his biggest concern was having so many unemployed young males in Mexico.

Now they are all here.

I propose a 60% remittance tax at the federal level, and a 50% remittance tax at the state level. that should end it very quickly indeed. imo.

If we don’t stop this invasion, the US will become a failed state itself.

WOW! This means USSERS could have a YUGE beautiful wall paid for by the tax Mexico would pay for sending US dollars back to the Mexicans via Western Union and other 'various' business. THIS, and how much is skimmed off the top in order to fund the uniparty candidates? TRiUMPh

Right again! Amazing. Just amazing; and YUGE~

My daughter, her kids and I passed through El Paso last month and stopped at Whataburger to eat. We’re sitting there eating and my grandson says, “why are we the only white people in here, and why isn’t anybody speaking English?”, then his eyes got big and his jaw drops and he whispers, “are we in MEXICO?”. It was so funny, and I told him Mexico was a few blocks away and to just eat and be quiet.

“Simple. Outlaw all wire transfers to Mexico from individuals. Easy to do and enforce.”

Banning or imposing heavy taxes on wire transfers won’t work. It will just hasten the formation of an “underground” banking system, like the one I saw when I lived in Japan. Transfers will just be made through export/import businesses or through the cartels - groups that already have experience in moving money among countries. It will be expensive for the illegals, and the US government won’t get any benefit or control at all.

Oh yes that would be the easy one. The hard one would be stopping the cash flow back to Mexico.

All road check points are setup for mostly traffic headed away from the border. Talking with BP folks, they never check trucks, buses, or autos going south for drug CASH.

So what happens, the cash is taken to the border towns to cash houses and split up and then moved across the river bypassing the checkpoint or more time is spent hiding the cash in the vehicles to pass through the border checkpoints.

This can be done with remittance where the sender pays a fee to send the cash and have it distributed or a "banking" system is set up for the laundered cash. Pretty simple and hard to enforce.

I like the concept though but more fleshing out would have to be done before I would totally believe The Mouth could pull it off.

I really do not care if Mexico pays for the wall. What is important to me is that the border is secure. That is the bottom line. All of the other reality TV mumbo jumbo is wasted on me.

Secure the damn border FIRST and deport the Illegal invaders so this country has a fighting chance to recover. Secondly, try and convict all traitors associated with the Obama administration. Hang them in public displays across the country. NO Reality TV broadcasts and people are required to attend at least one. This will definitely start America healing.

Both of you make valid points.

Which takes us back to the more tried and true basic approach.

Seriously crack down on the hiring of illegals and stop all benefits to illegals. Including driver licenses (which is beyond insanity)

Secure the border physically (barriers) and with massive enforcement.

IOW, stop them coming in and stop making it so attractive for them to be here. Mortgages, welfare, DL, sanctuary cities.

Are we not taxing the taxpayer (what’d that be now, 3x 4x dipping?). IMO, most of the $$ sent home being from State/Fed welfare?

How ‘bout:

1. Terminate the welfare state
2. Halt all ‘foreign aid’.

I should generalize and say ‘follow the F* Constitution’, and point 1 would be moot. Course, they do that and MANY ‘problems/issues’ would be moot...

I digress. GO TRUMP. They WILL pay for the wall!! I just wish he’d come out w/ “On day one, I’m coming for the sanctuary cities.” message. Put ‘em on notice.
