Limbaugh: Trump Built the ‘Coalition’ the GOP Claims to Want —
Breitbart ^ | February 10,2016 | JEFF POOR

Posted on 02/10/2016 5:38:19 PM PST by Hojczyk

"Trump won, the exit polls were right," Limbaugh continued.

"Trump won men. He won women.

He won every age group.

He won every ideology. Liberal, conservative, moderate, Libertarian.

Every group Trump won a majority of voters. He won among people who had gone to college and people who hadn't. He won among people who only had a high school education; he won among people who did not have a high school education.

He won every single age bracket. He won those groups by huge margins. He won men 3-to-1 over second place finisher. Women he won 2-to-1. Voters under 30 he won 2-to-1. Nearly 40 percent of those who had not attended college voted Trump. A third of those who had attended college voted Trump. This is what the Republican Party's been telling us they need to win. I've had 'em come to my office. I've told you. I've had Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY)94% here, Mitt Romney's here.

One thing they've all said in common is that Republican Party can't win with Republican votes alone anymore. We have to branch out, we have to reach out. This is what they were telling me to prepare me for some of the campaign tactics that I was gonna see. That they were gonna have to reach out and immigration was one of the ways of reaching out, supporting amnesty."

But instead of praising Trump for this accomplishment, Limbaugh argues the GOP is criticizing Trump instead.

"Well, all along Trump has built that coalition the Republican Party claims to want and they're out there badgering it and bashing it," he added. "It's exactly what they claim to want.

They could have had it. The Republican Party could have had the Trump coalition. They could have had it at health care.

Rather than learn from Trump, they continue to bash him while insisting their old, pandering, squishy, capitulating ways are best. We as the base are just too stupid to realize it.

Trump won every demographic in the NH primary. That’s pretty astounding. If he duplicates that feat in the south, he’s going to be unstoppable.

Trump sounds pretty all-knowing, all-thinking, all-feeling, etc. to me.

Rush has been on a roll of insightful observations these past weeks. Love him or hate him, or just being pissed because he doesn’t push your own favorite candidate, doesn’t detract from his observations.

Rush is 100% right that this is the group of voters the GOP-e has spent millions wooing. Trump has gathered the harvest without much effort.

I Stand with Ted.

That's more of a reflection on you than Trump. Because millions of people see him as just speaking the obvious truth.

This all sounds exactly like the McCain campaign, including the big rallies. In a general election, it will end the same.

Oh, but if Cruz had one with the same demographic percentage, I suppose you’d be parroting that line, eh?

You Cruz operatives are the most disingenuous cabal of hypocrites to ever hit the political scene.

I’m not a “Cruz operative” - I’m a “conservative” - Maybe you’ve heard of us. There used to be quite a few of us on FreeRepublic, until that bad KoolAid started circulating, that convinced people to ignore all the cognitive dissonance and support a loudmouthed, blowhard liberal named Trump.

They do want that coalition. They just wanted it to support the GOPe, globalist candidate of their choice and not some renegade who doesn’t support their agenda.

They’ll never admit, or might even be too stupid to realize, that Trump’s issue stances are the only thing that can or will put that coalition together.

Don’t listen to the ones you’ve been listening to. Rush is Rush. He’s talking about all the candidates, the processes, the reactions, the media... Somebody picks up a snip it, and suddenly he’s supporting Rubio and Rush is the enemy.

It’s almost comical.

I heard his show today, and he mentioned that the closest thing to a conservative you’re gonna get is Cruz.

Next thing you know, everyone is saying Rush supports Cruz. See? Don’t go for Trump, go for Cruz. Rush said so.

And now we have this.

Rush is like the play by play political sportscaster with observations and analysis thrown in.

He doesn’t endorse candidates in the primaries. Never has AFAIK.
