Carrier just lost a potential customer...we’re having our AC replaced this Spring and they were one of the options the HVAC guy recommended.
Not anymore.
The house I bought in 2008 had a Goodman (mfg in Houston TX) furnace and AC installed the year before. Lots of problems with both heat and AC, low quality.
They were purchased by the Japanese in 2012 (Daikin Group) perhaps they have shaped them up?
So you wont’ buy from Carrier. Who will you buy from? And how do you know it manufactures your unit in the United States?
So little manufacturing is done here anymore, I don’t know that saying “I won’t buy from Carrier” makes a difference.
