GOP Shatters it's Turnout Record: Democrats Lag Behind
The Washington Times ^ | February 10, 2016 | Stephen Dinan

Republicans set a new turnout record Tuesday in New Hampshire’s primary, attracting more than a quarter of a million voters to the polls and offering evidence that most of the energy in the 2016 presidential race continues to be on the GOP side.

Democrats saw a strong turnout, but their two-person race couldn’t recapture the magic of the 2008 battle between Hillary Clinton and then-candidate Barack Obama — a race that presaged Mr. Obama’s eventual cruise to victory in November.

Trump has now surpassed the Romney’s 2012 NH votes, and McCain’s 2008 by over 10K. The NH votes are still being counted where Trump will likely break 100,000.

The democrat turnout gave Bernie 60% of the vote, but Hillary was awarded 15 delegates to Bernie’s 13.

Why would a dumbocrat bother voting?

“Trump has now surpassed the Romney’s 2012 NH votes,”

That is not how Rush reported it. He used percentages. Hahaha

Trump’s touchback amnesty is a democrat issue.

It’s a guarantee to get the democrat party as the majority party in perpetuity.

If you can’t get a democrat elected to push your agenda get a republican elected that will advance your agenda.

What part of that is too complicated for Trumpsters to understand?

More candidates are running to dilute the percentage.

Ha, Bernie’s victory speech mentioned that republicans only win when voter turnout is low

He is an idiot icon for the so-called millenials ...
the ones whose paychecks he plans to confiscate for the next 50 years

"The democrat turnout gave Bernie 60% of the vote, but Hillary was awarded 15 delegates to Bernie's 13."

I hope the "feel the bern" morons are now getting a clue as to how government control works

How much of that record turnout was due to Dems voting in the Republican primary?

You seem to be forgetting that a number of Democrats crossed over to vote GOP. The only way to know if this is good news for GOP in NH is to compare totals with earlier years. Regarding the odd appearance that Hillary got more delegates than Bernie, it is because of “Super Delegates” who are long term party activists. Hillary has been building for years, Bernie for a year. Three% of the vote has still not been counted.
