The GOP presidential race is moving to South Carolina, which hosts its primary on Saturday, February 20. A lot can and will change before then, but one thing is clear when looking at polls in the Palmetto State: Donald Trump entered Tuesday as the frontrunner in South Carolina, and he’ll remain the frontrunner after his dominant performance in New Hampshire.

I agree. He was the ONLY Republican Senator that voted against the Corker Bill. May be too young/new for VP spot.

His DOB is May 13, 1977 (age 38). I guess he has to be 44 years old. Good man and a vet. Maybe some day.

Cruzers need to back off on your meds. Cruz is no match for a guy like Trump. Like a nerf gun VS a .50 caliber.

Proportional delegates in Nevada.

Cruz is ignoring the state because he considers it California East. He doesn’t get it — I run into the governor at the supermarket.

During the debate, I thought about Senator Tim Scott, who probably got pressured to endorse the anointed Marco Rubio in New Hampshire.

I bet he felt like a damn fool. Probably still does. His endorsement, which could have been powerful, is wasted.

Although I still hope Rubio stays alive long enough to really bug Jeb.

True. Just a hunch, but I’m thinking Trump could pick Huckabee. The Huck-haters here would go ballistic, but he would be a good fit. He could shore up Trump with social conservatives without scaring off not so religious folks. He’s a semi-outsider, but conventional enough to reassure the party folks. He’s generally pretty likable, but not going to overshadow Trump. He’s said nothing but good things about Trump. And he certainly knows the Clintons.

Probably a long shot, but still I wouldn’t be surprised.

It could be another of CNN’s rumors.

My sister lives there and my parents as well. I’m pretty sure I got my mom on the Trump train, my Dad probably won’t vote (he’s very cynical) my sister, who knows. It wouldn’t surprise me if none of them voted in the primary.

Christie dropped out, didn’t he?

I didn't feel the THUMPPPPP .......

He's probably gonna pray for a while before he makes it official - I don't think his prayers will be answered so he's pretty much done except for making noise. He has a place but it ain't the WH.

And Trump is right back at it with a rally at Clemson in SC tonight, LA tomorrow, FL Friday and 2 more in SC (Sumter and Myrtle Beach next week). I wish I had his energy and endurance.

There’s a thread for the Clemson rally tonight - we really try to keep these rally threads positive.
