Former president Bill Clinton suggested Sunday that his wife Hillary Clinton was not responsible for the security of the Benghazi consulate while she was secretary of state, claiming she had been absolved by a "very tough report" on the 2012 terrorist attack.
"A non-partisan, very tough report on the Benghazi incident said there were serious holes in the way we provided for security, not just for the two State Department employees who lost their lives, one of them was a very close friend of ours, but for the two CIA contractors who were there trying to provide defense," Clinton said. "But the secretary of state was not personally responsible because no secretary of state had ever overseen the details of security operations, even Colin Powell, who was Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff."
Speaking at an event in New Hampshire, Clinton said the scrutiny Hillary faced since leaving the State Department amounted to something that "no public official in the history of the republic has ever faced."

Hillary was, by law and by regulation, the only person responsible for Ambassador Stevens' security. She can't pass that buck to subordinates and she can't even pass it to the POTUS and those security standards only scratch the surface of her pre-attack failures.
When dealing with the Clintons- if their lips are moving they are lying.

How did Bill and Hill come to the deal where they claim this ugly duckling to be theirs?

When our embassy was attacked in Tanzania,the investigation afterward came out with steps to take to “prevent that from ever happening again”,sound familiar?
Well one of the steps that was to be taken was the Secretary Of State was to take a personal interest in security of our embassies.
This fact was brought up in testimony in the aftermath of Benghazi,officials were confronted as to why these so called New recommendations were now being proposed again.
They were asked directly if Hillary had followed those procedures,of personally being involved,they obfuscated and dodged.
Of course the whole thing is moot since it was not an embassy,or consulate,it was a gun running operation
