Marco Rubio, reeling from Saturday night's debate performance, sought to downplay expectations of a top-tier finish in New Hampshire during an interview with NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt.
“Well, every state is different. You know, in New Hampshire you have some candidates that literally have a campaign nowhere else. They only have a New Hampshire campaign. And so these are people that have invested all of their resources in one place. So that's a challenge," Rubio told Holt.

“You have Donald Trump that's consistently been in first place now since June or July. He's the clear front-runner. So it's a crowded field," he said. "This is a very unusual election. I think it would be a mistake to judge this election by any of the metrics of past elections. We've never had six or seven well-funded, credible candidates running for president on the Republican side at the same time."
Rubio also signaled that he is looking past New Hampshire toward the upcoming contests in South Carolina, Nevada and beyond, telling Holt, "I think this nomination's going to take a little longer, and I think it's going to be a little different process than in the past."

As for New Hampshire, “we’re going to do well here,” he said. “We have a good team here. When it’s all said and done and the delegates are counted up, we’re going to have more than half of them, and we’re going to be the nominee.”

LOL yep, that’s why I posted it.
But . . but . . .
Marco Rubio Raises Expectations, Predicts Victory in New Hampshire
Breitbart is SO in the tank for Trump it’s hard to put much stock in what they say.
On the one hand, on the other hand
: )
Huh?
I hope second place is close behind behind Trump so we get to see him spiral into insanity again.
So much for the 3-2-1 plan.
One has to read Breitbart knowing they have Trump bias. One has to listen to Rush knowing he is pushing Rubio until the GOPe settles on another candidate. One has to listen to Levin knowing he is selling Cruz. One has to listen to Fox knowing they hate Trump and Cruz. On and on it goes.
Careful.
He downplays, comes in 2nd, and then Rubie-bot 2016 will officially be fully activated.
I think both Cruz and Rubio have a long future ahead.
Both have 3 or 4 election cycles before they are really “prime” POTUS age.
The bizarre thing is that not a single one of the other candidates responded to what he said (which was that Obama was stupid and hadn’t just blundered into destroying the country but meant to do it). Unfortunately, Rubio was so blind-sided by their attack on him that he backed off on Obama. But hopefully, next time it will not be so.
