You’re most welcome.
Which policies? School choice?
The reason why so many people support socialism today is because children are institutionalized in socialist schools.
Doing nothing about the status quo in education is to stand back and watch our national funeral.
The classic criticism of school choice from the Right is that private schools will be corrupted by tax-funding.
But that will not happen because parents will have an INCENTIVE to protect the schools that THEY HAVE CHOSEN for THEIR OWN CHILDREN.
Parents will fight regulation that undermines the curriculum of the school that they have chosen.
But suppose the worst happens, that private schools become strangled by regulations. Then parents will spend their own money to send their children to non-voucher-redeeming schools, and we will revert to the status quo ante.
SO WE HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE with school vouchers.
In reality, that is not going to happen.
Who to believe????
Your post blew kiryandil's blogger completely up.
Hopefully he/she/they all survive because the flailing about is damned funny.
The picture from there shows them practically sitting in each other's laps. :)
BTW - I know why they’re doing it, now.
50 years ago the mainstream never imagined we’d be doing what we are doing today in schools.
If we allow the leftists to continue indoctrinating our children then conservatism is lost. Our children don’t even get the concepts of freedom. They’re learning that freedom = bad.
So which is it? Is Farris stupid or corrupt?
OUT with it!
Oh - 3 of 6, and the day is young. :)
Charlotte Iserbyt would agree with Anita B. Hoge.
At the 9:30 min mark â there is no way to have tax funded school choice without total control.
These would be unelected school boards.

I have seen three. Seriously, I appreciate what you are doing.
Then you're for turmoil on the forum.
I told you I understand now what they're up to. I didn't before, because posting like this is foreign to the nature of FR.
So your guy is Trump right?
That’s incorrect, parents will have the choice.
That’s the point.
Sorry, I promised not to snark today.
I tend to trust Michael Farris...I’ve read (and posted) his commentary on the subject.
This is worse than Uniparty action.

There’s more - this is from a video on the thread and the link below.

How Obamaâs race database is involved
How making every school all TITLE ONE (at risk students) allows them to use MEDICAID funds. In fact in the audio she mentions Obamacare funds will be used.
How all students will need an IEP to be able to attain common core outcome based objectives.

Homeschool ping
Long article, but important
HSLDA IS MISLEADING HOMESCHOOLERS. Homeschools would be codified in legislation as a private school. The law is the law. Instead HSLDA should be warning homeschoolers that accepting Title I means being sucked up into the Title I portability tornado. Lock your doors and secure your windows. HSLDA should be advising parents to NOT let Sen. Ted Cruz place them squarely in Title I’s portability “suck zone.” HSLDA should be informing parents that Title I also applies to every child labeled as failing or At-Risk of failing to meet Common Core standards of specified attitudes, values, beliefs, and dispositions.
