Monday, February 8, 2016: GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a campaign event in Salem, NH at the Derry-Salem Elks Lodge. The event is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM EST.

Salem is a town in Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 28,776 at the 2010 census. Salem is a marketing and distributing center north of Boston, with a major amusement attraction, Canobie Lake Park, and a large shopping mall, the Mall at Rockingham Park.

Donald Trump Town Hall in Londonderry, NH (2-8-16) @ 1:30pm at the Londonderry Lion's Club.

Londonderry is a town in western Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. The town is bordered on the north by the city of Manchester and on the east by the town of Derry. The population was 24,129 at the 2010 census. Londonderry is known for its apple orchards and is home to the headquarters of Stonyfield Farm and partial home to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport.

Donald Trump Holds Rally in Manchester, NH (2-8-16) at the Verizon Wireless Arena at 7:00 PM EST.

Manchester is the largest city in the U.S. state of New Hampshire, the tenth largest city in New England, and the largest city in northern New England, an area comprising the states of Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. It was first named by the merchant and inventor Samuel Blodget (after whom the Samuel Blodget Park in Manchester North is named). Blodget's vision was to create a great industrial center similar to that of Manchester in England, which was the world's first industrialized city. It is located in Hillsborough County along the banks of the Merrimack River, which divides the city into eastern and western sections. Manchester is near the northern end of the Northeast megalopolis. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 109,565, and its 2014 population estimate was 110,448. As of the 2014 population estimate, Manchester is the largest New England city north of Boston, including other Massachusetts cities. The Manchester-Nashua metropolitan area, with an estimated population in 2014 of 405,184, is home to nearly one-third of the population of New Hampshire.

Thank you. Too bad it’s going to take 20 years for the dust to settle, but the fight between the 2 factions has been going on for many years (or so I’ve read); so, while I’d prefer that calm is reached prior to then, in the grand scheme of things, 20 years may not be too bad (unless one side obtains chemical weapons or worse - one of my fears).

Thank you - I thought there was a treaty but couldn’t remember specifics. You are always a wealth of great information on a variety of threads.

Let Carly downsize some department like EPA or education. She’s experienced in that

I agree. I caught the tail end of the Carly rally - meet and greet at the ice cream parlor while I was waiting for Trump to begin. I think Carly might have a place in the Admin but she needs to be a bit more careful of who she bashes. Since she’s a woman, she can easily get away with going against Hillary (who is using the women’s card and claim sexist - I was totally appalled by Albright’s comment - trust me, I’m not going to hell b/c I don’t support H) but she needs to sometimes tone it down a bit, especially with fellow Pubbies.

I’ve worked extremely hard all my life to get ahead and support myself. And, while I didn’t reach CEO status like Carly, I have climbed the ladder, so I appreciate how she started and got ahead and know first hand that a lot of us had to work really hard and sometimes fight to do so. I’ve listened to some of her speeches and the debates. I think she has good things to say and think she is probably rather smart, but she sometimes comes across as being a bit snarly. I don’t think a leader should be mamby pamby and all gushy and feelings, but I think one needs to show they care. And, while I don’t doubt that she wants this country to be good, IMHO she sometimes comes off a bit cold and not so caring. It’s been my experience that one can be a strong leader through strength of management and convictions and also showing they care and being personable - I think The Donald shows that but Carly and others, not so much.

“Hillary, would have to consult her people, then get back to the person.”

So would some of the others - but the consultation would only occur after having a focus group ;-)

Hi neighbor to the south!

Currently blue skies, sunny and 50 here. So nice to have a break from gray skies and rain on and off! I actually wouldn’t mind a little snow (though I don’t drive when it happens - too many hills to go down where I live plus a lot of ice on the road and quite a few idiot drivers).

Sounds like your snow will be melting soon!

I agree! I did think it was nice that Trump addressed him and asked him if his leg was OK, etc.

I’ll give Trump a pass on the nuclear question. Nobody outside the military could know much about that. He will know when he can do something about it.

I have been to Seattle, Beautiful!

We live in Central Oregon right at the eastern foothills of the Cascades! (about 4,500ft.) We have had at least 5 ft of snow total this winter.

It takes a long time for the snow to melt because it freezes hard every night. Not going to complain about the snow because the mountains need it.

Trump recognized a liberal by the words he used, “look those children in the face.” Only liberals use “the children” as political tools.

Thanks so much for the link Nana! I missed the rally at the Italian Grille - going to watch it soon. In his last talk I thought he was referring to the violence (especially against women) in Germany and other places.

And Obummer and Hillary want to bring 65-100k of the mooslems here who we know absolutely nothing about and I am almost positive do not want to be Americans or assimilate into our country. It gets scarier every day.

Sure the numbers are going down in ME. The cancer has metastasized to Europe and America.

I live at the Cascade foothills, too - but further north than you ;-) Oregon is also beautiful! As my aunt used to say “we live in G_d’s County”.

Our mountains needed a lot of snow, too - didn’t get much last year, which was bad for the ski industry but also for our water. I know what you mean - totally different snow here than when I lived in Denver and the freezing ice is treacherous if one tries to drive.

Have only passed through central OR. We go to the International Kite Festival in Long Beach, WA every year and take one day to go down to Seaside. Some years ago on a separate trip, we ventured down to Tillamook (went to the factory, did a tour and got some great cheese and ice cream - could have bought it here as Costco carries it, but oh well) and the WWII Flight Museum - tons of cool planes and history.

I am very disappointed Ted never disclosed his place of birth from the start of his govt. career.

You think you’re disappoinTED....I’m in TX, and helped his Senate campaign (donations/calls) without knowing :(

LOL! I see what you did there, but I think you’re right - we need to downsize a lot of the bureaus.

I’d like to see the EPA, Interior and Energy all combined and put Sarah in charge and let her start slashing - she could do a great job with Carly’s help (though I’m not sure how Carly stands on these things and/or if she would want to play 2nd fiddle to anyone).

Nice, I have been all over Washington as well. I was born on the border... Longview. My Dad spent a lot of his youth in Spokane.

My Mom’s parents worked at Boeing.

But I was about 6 months old when we moved to Oregon and we have been here since.

My DH and I spent our honeymoon at Seaside about 38 years ago.

Good points.

I was really hoping that she and he would hit it off, but she started piling on him, and still does.

She was on Fox Radio today, yeah in the car, turned it on. Sorry.

She was quite articulate, she always is. I like her very very much as a VP choice. She’s actually very conservative and more accomplished than your career female politician out there. I mean much better than someone like Haley.

I think she will be the big surprise tomorrow night.

My predictions.

Trump 37%
Cruz 16%
Fiorina 15%
Rubio 13%
Kasich 8%
Christie 5%
Bush 4%
Firoina

The State of Georgia has their presidential preference primary on March 1st.
“Early voting” began today, and I plan to go and vote tomorrow.
