Sorry, what is a Bruno Mars? Some new candy bar? I think Bounce is some female singer all the rage in the ghettos, never seen or heard her sing.

As usual, I DVR'd the thing and fast forward through commercials and half time to avoid millennial drivel.

Denver defense got the job done. Would have been nice if Peyton got just one last touchdown pass, but he is the captain of the team, glad they are not relying on him to win it. Used to drive me crazy how the Colts put everything on his arm to win it.

I thought Carolina was robbed on the challenged catch in the first quarter.

They show replays many times and it sure looked like he caught it to me. I admit it was close, but he bobbled it and then pulled it in and held on with his hand under the ball.

This one play was a great momentum killer.

Plus Carolina killed themselves with penalties. Again, big momentum stoppers.

There is no doubt Denver was better, but Carolina was in it until the end.

He could, but if someone paid you $100,000 to say that, wouldn’t you?

Very happy for Manning and the Bronco’s. But overall it was a boring game and the commercials sucked. GaGa was good, but the half time show as horrible.

For us Broncos fans, the game was a nail-biter. But yes, there were no memorable commercials and the halftime show was so bad that even Bruno Mars couldn't save it.

Coldplay? Really? Was Nickelback unavailable?

He is more than merely decent. He is truly a good man. You will not hear of one person in Indy who had interaction with him describe him as other than the nicest guy they ever met. It is part of his DNA. He deserved to go out (of his QB career) like this. I doubt he is done with football. I think there may be a team with his name on it.

Please tell where Manning had an effect on the outcome of this game? Looked to me like they could have put 70+ year old Joe Namath back there and the outcome would have been the same.

I got turned off on Newton after the AZ game as well. I didn’t know much about him before then, but that classless behavior did it for me.

And in today’s game when he pulled back from diving for that loose ball, also said a lot about him.

Peyton lives his faith. Indianapolis named part of children hospital for him. He gave so much of his time to our chikdren!
A remarkable gentleman

I started watching baseball again a few years ago, and actually look forward to April more than September. The NFL is being taken over by the PC crowd, and it just doesn’t seem the same game anymore. I just can’t get excited for the pro game now, and for the first time in years I stayed home to watch the game, and missed parts of it because I was truly bored. One of the worst played Super Bowls I’ve ever watched.

I have lived in NC all my life, but I was a Dallas fan long before Jerry Richardson ever had the idea to bring the NFL to Charlotte. I would have been glad to see Carolina win, but I was not disappointed at all to see Peyton win another Super Bowl. He is a class act and has a great family. As a Dallas fan, I find it ironic that two of the other people who contributed the most to the win are former members of the Cowboys’ organization - Coach Wade Phillips and outside line backer Demarcus Ware. Thanks to Jerry Jones for letting them go help another team win a Super Bowl!

>sCam exposed as average at best. Manning...class act. The antithesis of sCam.

I think Cam did well for what he was given. In the first 2-3 plays he saw how fast the blitz was coming at him and it freaked him out. He thought he had it with that TD, but then got hit by the Bronco’s D again and again. It was brutal. Frankly, in the last 5-6 minutes of the game, Charlotte could have won it, but Cam screwed up by NOT DIVING ON THE BALL HE FUMBLED.

I doubt fans will blame him for that though.

DeMarcus Ware and Wade Phillips ought to make a beeline for Jerry Jones the second they get those SuperBowl rings and flash them in his face.

Ha. You are so right!

I pulled hard for Peyton tonight (Vol for Life), but I expected Carolina to win. I knew the Denver D was good, but WOW! Von Miller, Ware, and the safeties were amazing. That whole defense was awesome.

Great to see Peyton go out with another ring, with another team, and to win a superbowl with the 4th coach he went there with.

Let all the talking heads debate who the greatest was - everyone has different criteria. To even be mentioned in the conversation is honor enough. Tonight I tip my hat to one of the best defenses I have ever seen in a Superbowl - they were amazing.

Congrats to Denver.

How much do you think he got from budweiser for that little remark?

Nope, he’s sulking like a little child. Got his behind kicked and beat up good — would be tough to take a bunch of Qs from media whores. B/c he’s black, his bad behavior will be excused or explained away. If he were white, Katie bar the door.

Pretty much agree, Cam needs to learn and is there any musical talent out there/

Newton’s cowardice in deliberately turning away from the lost ball in the 4th will haunt him for a long time.

I hope.

RE: Sorry, what is a Bruno Mars?

This is his second appearance. He was the performer in 2014.
