That’s right. It’s about trashing Cruz (a true Christian) for trying to win the presidency so we can bring it back under the constitution. It’s about benefiting an opportunists, whose opportunism is always considered by Freepers to be his greatest virtue. It’s smart when Trump calls rapists great mean, it’s smart when they give money to Rahm Emanuel, Terry McAuliffe, the Clinton Foundation, and endorse de Blasio, and it’s smart when he uses foul language and launches false accusations at his opponents. It’s about promoting a man who, as of this very moment, supports forcing old ladies out of their homes so he can build limo parking lots for his casinos and strip clubs. The same man who, as of this very moment, supports single-payer healthcare.
Yet, when Cruz tells the truth about a candidate who didn’t want his supporters/donors knowing the truth (that he is indeed dropping out soon), we’re supposed to believe these same Freepers are suddenly fond of scruples in politics.
What if Cruz had called Carson a child molester? Would that have been okay with them?

You are making yourself pharisaical. I doubt Trump will get up on the stage after his win in NH and give all the glory to God as though he were God’s chosen anointed. And I don’t think Trump will present himself to evangelicals as their chance to have a Principled Christian Conservative in the White House. If Cruz wants to do all those things, and more, that’s fine. He just needs to walk the walk. Trump, on the other hand, makes no such proclamations about his holiness or anointing from God.
You can always spot a Cruz supporter a mile away. Don’t call me stupid unless your prepared to compare resumes, IQ, and all round capacity for critical thinking.

You're absolutely right, he did. And he issued a formal announcement. His staff announced his schedule back and forth from the book tour, and took pains to make it known in the media that he was funding the book tour with his publisher's money and his own. In other words, they treated it as any campaign would when announcing a suspension.

You point, however, is that his wealth makes him independent of the banks. You have just said that this is not the case. Further he boasts about the art of the deal, this involves gives and take, and at times he must yield. A capitalist can be not more independent of his class than Washington was of the slave-owning aristocracy. Which is why Romney was so easily tarred by the Democrats. He was transparently a member of his class. Trump is flamboyant, so to your point he is to de free and outsider.Not for him the gray tones of the typical board rooms, but loud and boorish. But independent? No more and no less than the Kochs or Buffet, or the several idiot savants of Silicon valley, or the Waltons for that matter. Liberal lords all. Therefore Trump will do nothing that will not raise him higher in that hierarchy.
