Exactly. His actions don't match his words. Furthermore, he also misuses and takes Scripture out of context, trading on the name of Christ for political gain. CS Lewis warned us of people like that.
do you remember offhand any time he misused or misquoted scripture?

Cruz himself misused Paul when he told his followers in January to ‘put on the full armor of God’ to prepare for the political attacks in IA. The context of that has nothing to do with politics in the least. Those are 2 within the last six weeks. I probably could find more if this is his pattern.
