Where was Ted Cruz when the messages started coming out from his camp about Carson dropping out? Standing next to me!
If CRuz is such ‘good friends’ with Carson, why didn’t CRuz personally call Carson to confirm this ‘information’, about his ‘good’ friend? He could then put his own campaign on notice to NOT push this whopper.
Cruz didn’t base what happened on “tweets”. He and his campaign were repeating what CNN’s on air reports said.
Cruz walked into the caucus and you’re the ONLY one that noticed him?
You think CNN would try to help Cruz?

Butter, we hung in there with you on all of the Loretta Fuddy posts/work you did, but this is one you might want to let go.
CNN NEVER said the words “quit” “ getting out” or “suspending” when talking about Carson going to FL to get fresh clothes.
They said “odd” and “you just don’t do that”, etc., but NEVER “quit” “getting out” or “suspending”.
Let me slow down for you Private. We are up against a side wall of a 4 sided room. There is a stage at the front of the room. He and I are against the left wall almost at the back of the room farthest from the stage that is. He is next to me closer to the stage against the wall. Everyone is looking towards the stage including Cruz and I. That would make me actually behind him. He did not want me to see what he was doing so he shielded me from seeing what he was looking at by putting his head against the wall and turning his left shoulder towards the wall. He was wearing a sweater that has a zipper collar that many hen pecked middle aged men wear. I was wearing a cool all silk Tommy Bahama camp shirt under my black 3/4 length coat.
Show me where Ted Cruz said the word “quit”, “getting out”, or “suspending”.
I think the entire MSM was praying Trump would lose Iowa, and the only one he could lose to was Teddy. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Don’t by so obtuse.
CNN never said Carson was dropping out. Team Ted lied. Own it.

For the most part yes. He wanted it that way I think. We were way in the back next to the door. It took several minutes before his supporters noticed him. There were 2 women in chairs between Ted, me, and the door. They were both Rand Paul supporters and said nothing to Cruz.
Cruz is toast.
Obviously the word is out on Cruz after, count ‘em, *two* nasty tricks in Iowa within days.
Evangelicals had affection for Carson. Cruz looked like a vulture on a carcass, given the already wounded Carson campaign. It made Cruz look desperate. (Which he WAS.)
New Hampshire and South Carolina Evangelicals just may not sleep through this scandal(s).
The only person that ever said that was Steve King late in the evening. BTW, every news commentator that heard the CNN report thought Carson was calling it quits. Both Bret Baier and Brit Hume talked about it as well as a lot of others.
He is in California during the NH campaign!!
What difference does it make that CNN never said those things, if Cruz never claimed that they did?
To call Cruz a liar you have to show that he said something that was untrue. He said that media reports said Carson was taking a break in campaigning after IA. They did say that, and he has taken a break. He’s got no campaign events listed on his website whatsoever.
So what was Cruz’s “lie”?
Definitely. Dr. Carson, you are coming across as weak now.
I think that’s just a grassroots organizational get-together, IIRC. There is nothing listed on there as a campaign event that Carson would be at.
His NH people had all quit to join Cruz’s campaign a day before the IA caucus.
But I think I’m just gonna not feed the frenzy. Those who want to call Cruz a liar will do so no matter what, and the attention to this is at the cost of other much more important things.
What I come away from this with is the realization that human beings really stink. All of us. If we get worse than Sodom and Gomorrah it’s because we deserve it. Doesn’t mean I won’t try to stop it from happening though.
Again....reread my post. I said his campaign “pushed the whopper”.
Just sit back and look what is happening here. We have a bunch of people attacking Cruz; the best conservative candidate on the ballot; the best in 2 elections at least.
The Democrats have to love this.
