LIVE THREAD: Donald Trump Rally in Plymouth, NH (2-7-16) @1:00pm

Sunday, February 7, 2016: GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally in Plymouth, NH at Plymouth State University at ALLWell North. The event is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM EST.

Trump moves more inland today for an early rally, and again it's at a small venue.

Here's some interesting history.

This was the case in every New England state. The early settlers drove the Indians out physically during the Queen Anne's War. Plymouth was originally the site of an Abenaki village that was burned to the ground by Captain Thomas Baker in 1712.

In 1806, then-lawyer Daniel Webster lost his first criminal case at the Plymouth courthouse, which now houses the Historical Society. The author Nathaniel Hawthorne, while on vacation in 1864 with former U.S. President Franklin Pierce, died in Plymouth at the second Pemigewasset House, which was later destroyed by fire in 1909. In the early 20th century, the Draper and Maynard Sporting Goods Company (D&M) sold products directly to the Boston Red Sox, and players such as Babe Ruth would regularly visit to pick out their equipment.

Thanks! LOL - we’re branching out - instead of talking about food and dinner prep on this thread, we’re discussing fragrances :-)

Another one I just thought about I wore long ago is Woodhue (mostly in the winter time) - hadn’t thought about that one forever.

Bush went around quickly, too and gave Trump a pat on the arm as he went past as Trump was waiting with Carson.

It’s all in the nose ;-)) I once loved the fragrance of Jungle Gardenia -and applied it liberally eventually tiring of it and now can’t tolerate it. However true live gardenias are still beautiful in fragrance. LOL as a child, sister and I found a neighbor had discarded old perfumes. We rounded up those bottles, took them home, and used them for our mud pies. ROTFL we emptied the lot into one container. SMELL! Yikes!! Talk about sickening. My sister had to take the container to another tree to empty. It was she, rather than I, as I was in the process of throwing up. Ah! Those were the days :-))

Woodhue. Then you remember Tigress! That was my scent that year until my sweetie came back from abroad with Joy from the duty-free store!

Send out a tweet if you are on twitter. Send it to Trump and some of his crew, Dan Scavino or Bill Mitchell.

@realDonaldTrump
@DanScavino
@mitchellvii
@EricTrump

They will bounce it around and maybe enough people close enough to trump will see it and maybe Bob and Trump can have a chat.

ROFLOL! Great story - ah, the things we used to do as kids - if nothing else we were inventive with our games and how we played.

Yes, I do - Tigress wasn’t too good on me. My cousin only wore Joy - it smelled great on her!

You mentioned several that bring fond memories L’air du Temps was worn often and I loved the fragrance. Attractive bottle as well. Loved the shape. Wind Song I had completely forgotten, didn’t wear that but my mom did. White Shoulders was known, but don’t remember ever spritzing it on. Are Elizabeth Taylor’s fragrances still sold? Diamond, Emerald, Sapphire? LOL not many here on the countryside of Texas who might appreciate the beautiful fragrance. We have our wild flowers and our live stock and the live stock never seem to care :-))

Waiting for Trump to arrive - they don’t play the songs he normally plays because they don’t want to have to pay royalties. Both the feed and CSPAN are probably waiting for Trump. If there are YUGE lines trying to get in (security is sometimes slow plus the local Fire Marshall monitors), he gives interviews backstage and/or sometimes he gets stuck in traffic). I’m sure he’ll be on both the feed and CSPAN before too much longer.

Hope a few people who were planning on voting for crews vote for the good doctor. Their vote is really not going to help Teddy out much.
Thought last night. What name does TC have on the ballot and will people recognize him. In Indiana candidates must use their legal name.
