LIVE THREAD: Donald Trump Rally in Plymouth, NH (2-7-16) @1:00pm

Sunday, February 7, 2016: GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally in Plymouth, NH at Plymouth State University at ALLWell North. The event is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM EST.

Trump moves more inland today for an early rally, and again it's at a small venue.

Here's some interesting history.

This was the case in every New England state. The early settlers drove the Indians out physically during the Queen Anne's War. Plymouth was originally the site of an Abenaki village that was burned to the ground by Captain Thomas Baker in 1712.

In 1806, then-lawyer Daniel Webster lost his first criminal case at the Plymouth courthouse, which now houses the Historical Society. The author Nathaniel Hawthorne, while on vacation in 1864 with former U.S. President Franklin Pierce, died in Plymouth at the second Pemigewasset House, which was later destroyed by fire in 1909. In the early 20th century, the Draper and Maynard Sporting Goods Company (D&M) sold products directly to the Boston Red Sox, and players such as Babe Ruth would regularly visit to pick out their equipment.

My mom wore Estee Lauder and Chanel No.5. I was never able to wear Estee either. I also used to wear Norell and bought some a year or two ago also White Shoulders and L’air du Temps (still wear from time to time). When I was in junior high I liked Wind Song. My all time favorite was Gucci No. 1, but they discontinued it some years ago - haven’t found anything I like as much on me since.

Forgot about English Leather (my dad used to wear it). I liked Polo for men until I guy I dated wore it and I swear he put about 1/2 a bottle on at a time - way too much!

I wore Tweed as a young woman. And then it just disappeared. Don’t know if I’d recognize it today. A young woman wore Cinnabar today at church. Wore it for years. I can’t do the floral or sweet scents

Didn’t he say he thought he was going to be called second, and then when he wasn’t, he thought he was eliminated? Or was that a joke? Sounds like a Carson-type joke.

The moderators tried a smooth coverup by saying the crowd reaction was so loud that they couldn’t even hear themselves.

I don’t remember, but I think there might have been a fragrance that was called Lily of the Valley. I like them and they’re the flower for my birth month :-)

Outside of a few things, some of the time when he was talking about himself I thought it could be Jeb.

A few years ago, when I was out of my current favorite Design, I dabbed myself with carnation oil. I’ve NEVER had so many compliments on my perfume...especially from the fellas.

I don’t recall hearing that. I do hear reading/hearing that the moderators were calling names over the applause (which they were - wasn’t sure why they were rushing it) and some couldn’t hear backstage (Carson said that this a.m.).

For those that weren’t on the Debate Thread last night - there was a huge and series on and off discussion (and argument) over eminent domain and how Trump did/didn’t use it. I believe it was on that thread (possibly after the debate was over) that someone brought up that the Bush family used eminent domain in Texas for the Texas Stadium when W owned the Rangers. Trump just brought I up on George Stephy’s show (This Week) and said he just learned about it about 5 minutes before going on the show. Heh Heh - Trump may be reading FR and/or has some quick researchers. I was glad that he hit back with that - too bad he didn’t have that info last night, but I’m fairly sure we’ll be hearing it at the rallies.

I love the smell of carnations. Where do you get the oil? Another one I like (used sparingly) is I got some Plumeria cologne from Hawaii some time ago - great to use in the summer.

“So Trump waited until CArson entered?”

And Cruz couldn’t get around Carson fast enough. Ted knows he screwed Carson over in Iowa.

Go to your health food store to where they have their essential oils. Lots of neat scents, but I love carnation!

I’ve not seen anything with the thought Carson felt he might have been eliminated. At the time, the thought did cross my mind. Especially after the quarrel with the Cruz campaign and charges of dropping out. It certainly was a surreal evening. Racism, robots, southern gentleman, and not one female on stage...other than the mod, of course. There were more steps and dancing than the square dance festival in Midland. A very telling moment in many ways.
