Twitter users mercilessly mocked Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) as a "robot" for repeating the same soundbite four times Saturday during ABC's Republican presidential debate.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie attacked Rubio as "scripted" for repeating the same line about President Barack Obama during a back-and-forth between the two candidates.

Rubio said three times that Republicans had to dispel the notion that Obama "doesn't know what he's doing."

On Twitter, celebrities and commentators alike fired off their own critiques:

So...Christy repeated his charge at Rubio about his debating at least three times. Rubio’s remarks on Obama had been challenged by others he had to respond.

Rubio is the least consistent debater. The debate prior to Iowa, he had a horrible debate and then came back. If he does top 3 in NH, we haven’t gotten rid of him yet. I don’t know how voters are going to look at this debate. I see some debate polls that are not that bad for Rubio. Weird I know. If Christie gets rid of Rubio, he will be doing America a favor.

Iowa is indicative of Iowa and nothing else ... the only news relevant to Iowa is the dirty tricks that Cruz pulled on Carson ...

I heard him speak in 2009 when he started his senate run. It was a venue with about 80 conservatives and he was speaking from his heart with just a few note cards. I wonder if it was money or secrets that turned him into this huge disappointment? Seriously, it’s like listening to an automaton now.

But he made the best noise on abortion/life so how about we all ignore the other 99% of him and make him "our guy"?

Any bets that there are a number of FReepers who would do that?

Heck, I have a friend who is a dyed-in-the-wool Sanders supporter who watch the debate last night, and he even commented to me on how Christie kicked Rubio’s backside.
