Warning: Watch your mouth when you talk about Tesla online. If you say the wrong thing, Elon Musk could bring down the hammer and block you from buying one of his precious electric cars.

Maybe he should start showing up on time for events, too.
40%!!!??? What Happened? Liability suits? Or is it because a barrel of oil is cheaper than sin these days?
These Silicon Valley guys think they know it all and build cars and make a buck, and the Detroit Guys are a bunch of rubes. Should we give them a cup of coffee to go with their humble pie, because IMHO it is coming...
So the customer goes out and buys a golf cart. Same difference.
“Super Rude” is calling someone out for being two hours late to a scheduled talk? If that was the complaint, I agree with the person that Musk was accusing.
2 things happened:
- the price of gas has crashed down to on-par with the overhead per-mileage cost of driving an EV (electricity is cheap, but EVs still cost >$10,000 more than an equivalent gas car)
- Georgia ended its huge $5000 lease-or-buy EV tax credit, making the Nissan Leaf practically free for 2 years; ending that crashed the biggest EV market.
Wow!
Alsop’s one of the eminence grise of Silicon Valley!
What a dumb thing to do...

Musk is a fraud anyways. His biggest talent is getting the idiots in our government to subsidize him.

Yes, and he is behind and pushing 0bama on the 10 dollar a barrel oil tax.
Guess where that money will go......
We need to end government subsidies for all corporations, let us see if they pick and choose their customers then.
Oh and he better hope the person wasn’t gay or he’s in deep trouble.
Inconveniencing a whole lot of people by being late is a lot more rude.
I’ve felt Tesla stock was a slam dunk short but I also know never bet against a crony capitalist regime affiliate.
So all I can do is watch from the sidelines on this one.
Bingo. At some point the capital markets are going to expect Tesla to actually earn a profit.

The entire stock market is in a foul mood these days. It’s a combination of things, but mainly the Fed has started another tightening cycle. Any sort of bad news will punish a company severely, especially those that have appreciated significantly the past few years.
That Lana Del Rey album (Born to Die) is pretty good. It's growing on me. It's good Friday night music while waiting to go to restaurant for food and drink.
When an electric car will get me and 800 pounds of stuff 400 miles down the road with heat/air and lights on then take only 15 minutes to recharge for the next 400 miles at 75 mph and cost as much as a ford focus then I might look at one.
