Carson: Cruz taking 'Benghazi' approach to Iowa controversy
Politico ^

"I would have said if I didn't agree with what's being — which he did say that — I would make sure that it didn’t happen again," Carson noted in an interview with Todd Starnes' podcast, as reported by BuzzFeed News. "And I would take corrective action. Not to take corrective action is tacitly saying eh, it’s OK, or it's sort of like, as Hillary Clinton said after Benghazi, 'what difference does it make?'"

Who knew that Cruz was such a slick politician? Wrapping and being wrapped so successfully in the “conservative and pure” banner? Hard to swallow that he could be a tricky dicky.

You’re right about their inexperience. They didn’t expect cheating from one on their own side.

And my respect for Mr Carson can't drop any further. Comparing a caucus to the death of Americans...... pathetic.

“Someone needs to expose the SHAM that is the Carson campaign.”

Translation: How can we smear Carson because he dares speak out against Cruz?

The best thing Ben can do is bow out now. He does not have the energy or drive to campaign.

The phony bus thing was pathetic.

If I were Ben, I’d show myself to be a good guy by sending my support to Cruz.

After all, it was Trump who took him out early.

It doesn’t say much for the intelligence of some people that they buy bad used cars.

Is it their fault or the salesman’s fault for having the lemon there in the first place?

Think I'll call Trey and ask him to look into this Benghazi approach. Sounds as bad as the Wiki virus.

Also want to ask Gowdy why he's featured in SC TV ads endorsing Marco. What's with this, my excellent conservative House Rep?

Of course not. It’s because he hasn’t campaigned and doesn’t have the drive or energy to do so.

His phony war with Cruz is sad.

Yes, Ben. You need to show how good a person you are to the Cruz Cult by getting out of the race, and bowing at his alter of purity. Only a good and true conservative would do no less.

Mark Steyn says you are wrong.

In fact, you admit it’s wrong because you say you’re only interested in the numbers who were fooled.

And no, I admitted no such thing. Just said there is no evidence AT ALL that Carson’s stupidity resulted in votes being changed.

No, look at the facts. What legitimate campaign leases an empty campaign bus to drive around the primary states when he is not within 500 miles of that bus? If he had a little more energy, he could sell SHAMWOWS.

Carson has never been anything but bogus, and unfortunately, a young man lost his life on an icy Iowa highway working on his behalf. Of course, Carson was not even in the state when it happened.

Because you said you don’t care what he says?

I was wondering if that was a blanket statement.

Cruz made a gracious apology for the premature passing on of the CNN stuff. Ben accepted.

Sure, he accepted. Then he figured out that his 'boo hoo, poor me' act was getting him more attention than he'd had in 3 months and started milking it for all it's worth.

If there's any lesson here, it's NEVER APOLOGIZE TO BEN CARSON. In any case, Dr. Carson and his phony outrage will be yesterday's news after he does low single-digits in NH & SC.
