Carson: Cruz taking 'Benghazi' approach to Iowa controversy
Politico ^

"I would have said if I didn't agree with what's being — which he did say that — I would make sure that it didn’t happen again," Carson noted in an interview with Todd Starnes' podcast, as reported by BuzzFeed News. "And I would take corrective action. Not to take corrective action is tacitly saying eh, it’s OK, or it's sort of like, as Hillary Clinton said after Benghazi, 'what difference does it make?'"

It’s a suspect election. Cruz can’t claim it as a real victory.

When Mark Steyn says it’s questionable, then it’s questionable.

The expectations and behavior of Dr. Carson & Trump show the
downside of the inexperienced outsider as candidate.

Carson is going to drop out in the near future and someone else will get his supporters. Tweet it. The more he “hammers” Cruz, the more likely they’ll go to an establishment-backed candidate like Rubio. Makes sense for Fox news to keep running this over and over because Rubio is their guy.

This “controversy” is the only think keeping Carson’s name in the news. More name recognition = more magic, cancer-curing vitamins he can sell.

Amen.

You’re right about that!!!

And, I’ll take Styne’s opinion on this, as bankable. He did not start out as a Trump fan, btw.

Doesn’t say much for the intelligence of Sander’s Iowa supporters if they would change their vote on the word of an opponent operative.

Carson is turning out to be, in large measure, an empty suit. And to think that he was, at one time, my 3rd choice behind Cruz & Trump.

Not questionable at all until people come forth in sufficient numbers saying they changed their vote due to Carson’s self inflicted wound.

Bingo! Carson is not in this to win and never has been. He is now a knowing and willing establishment tool. Either that or just a flake. Cue the Rubio endorsement in two weeks.

Someone needs to expose the SHAM that is the Carson campaign. I wonder what his supporters would think if they knew he leased a campaign bus to drive around the primary states when he wasn’t on board the bus or even in the state. He has been milking his supporters to build his brand and sell books. He has not put in the work to win. He’s not equipped to do the job. He can’t run his campaign, much less the country.

Now he wants someone else to take responsibility for his own campaign’s poorly worded press release and his ridiculous action of going home to Florida with an election 8 days out. He has yet to set foot in New Hampshire or South Carolina. Instead he spends his time on T.V. slamming Cruz for CNN’s breaking news report. CNN and anyone else looking at Carson’s actions thought he was suspending his campaign.

Ben Carson is hurting himself by continuing to whine about this.

It’s been explained and explained again.

It was a CNN tweet which was disseminated in Iowa ... if anything, it was supporters being too eager but Ben cannot possibly claim that Cruz started the rumor.

Cruz made a gracious apology for the premature passing on of the CNN stuff. Ben accepted.

But since it’s the first press he’s had in weeks, he can’t let it go.

It’s hurting you, Ben. Grow up.

Carson is hurting himself at this point. He is also making it more difficult to end his campaign; a campaign that is giving the appearance of not being serious at this juncture.

What controversy?

Carson dropped out.

CNN reported it. Cruz reported it.

If you leave the campaign trail for 6 days after the first race, you dropped out.

Carson doesn’t like that? He should drop back in before he moans about it.

“The expectations and behavior of Dr. Carson & Trump show the

Because they refuse to just shut up and take it?
