I was listening to Mark Levinâs radio show last night during which he expressed his frustration with how the GOP has allowed itself to be mired in meaningless âscandalsâ at the expense of making a clear case for conservatism and addressing policy. I agree with him. It is absolutely unbelievable to me that despite having a very strong lineup of candidates, on tp of 8 years of disastrous progressive liberalism, we could be in danger of losing this nation to a SOCIALIST?
While the media (even on our side) obsesses over tweets, there are critical issues we should be discussing. But that doesnât meet the mediaâs agenda. Nor does having a strong conservative do well.
Levin pointed out some statistics from Iowa, as reported by the Weekly Standard, which youâll find shocking.
As has been widely reported, Donald Trumpâs appeal has mostly been to blue-collar voters, and he has risen to the top of the polls by blasting open-border immigration policies and the business-as-usual way of Republicanâand Americanâpolitics. It is therefore striking that the Iowa entrance polling suggests that Trump lost among blue-collar voters (or, more specifically, among voters without college degrees) to Ted Cruz.
[Levin points out that two-thirds of the population do NOT have college degrees, so this a crucial data point]
According to entrance polling, among the roughly half of all Republican voters without a college degree, Cruz won 30 percent of the vote, eclipsing Trumpâs 28 percent. Marco Rubio was a distant third, winning the support of just 17 percent of voters without college degrees.

“. . . in danger of losing this nation to a SOCIALIST” - for the third presidential election in a row.
I’d like to see Col. West as VP, and eventually President.
One of our best men.

Well, one number is in front of the other, and they appear to be about the same size, so....
Confusing. Where does it say or imply that?
Yes, there were two-—CNN and CBS both had Trump winning-—so someone lied.
I think Levin’s main point was that only college graduates should be allowed to vote.
Nor is it stunning. Its just sad clickbait.
It’s
Polling suggested of non-college grads Cruz got 30% while Trump got 28%.
I always thought this stat was made up to make people feel stupid for supporting him.
It would fit the elitist media’s perception. Maybe this polling suggests Trump’s supporters aren’t all blue collar non-college grads.
But, spin it however you want.
No one needed to lie. All that needed to happen was CBS and CNN staged their pollsters at caucus sites that turned out not to be belweathers and collected data from a sample that turned out not to be reflective/representative of the population that actually showed up and voted.
That would be a nice ticket. However, West recently moved to Texas. I would LOVE to see him run for Senate and primary Cornyn.
Cruz is too much of a religious zealot to win nationally. It worked in Iowa. It will not work in most other states. Reagan was a man of faith but not a fanatic. Cruz bought himself the fanatic mantle by all the pandering he did to Evangelicals in Iowa.
Well, since by-and-large college graduates have been brainwashed into socialist thinking, that would be a disaster.
We need true education - but the Left has commandeered educational intuitions, along with almost all of our other institutions.
God help us.
“Fanatic” being anyone who actually lives their faith on a daily basis and talks about it in public, apparently.
Cruz has always maintained a lead among college graduates, tea party voters, and evangelicals.

Very interesting that Trump’s strongest support was with non-college educated voters, but that is slipping.
Allen West is a sell out! He is a RINO bought and paid for by warmonger neocons. Oh and also wall street or something.
The true test of that belief will be how well Cruz does with Libertarians (ex-Rand Paul supporters) in NH.
