Trump: People Who Work Their Ass Off, Not Illegals, Are The Backbone Of This Country

During an interruption from a person Donald Trump described as a "Bernie plant," another audience member shouted out: "Immigrants are the backbone of this country."

"No," Trump responded. "I don't think so, darling. They're not the backbone. I'll tell you what... Let me just tell you something. You know the backbone of our country? People that came to this country legally and they worked their ass off and made this country great."

Much easier than “bicycling” the Cruz dirty tricks bag, denying they were “dirty tricks,” then apologizing for them, then again denying they were “dirty tricks,” then claiming they really didn’t matter, then back to saying they weren’t “dirty tricks.”

Whew, whew, whew.

Even though this thread has nothing to do with Sen Ted Cruz, the children will somehow make a Trump vs Cruz schoolyard fight.

‘Illegal immigrants are the backbone of our country? I don’t think so, darling. You know what the backbone of our country (is)? People that came here, and they came here legally. People that came here to this country legally, and they worked their ass off, and they made this country great.’

I loved that when he said that to that Southern California person in his audience...

That’s my candidate, doing it like I like, strong, blunt, and to the point...

Go.Trump.Go!!!

Why is Trump the only candidate strongly stating, without nuance, the obvious?

Because the wannabees need nuanced words and wiggle room for when if they get in office they don't stop the invasion of the US? (just a crazy guess)

It’s pretty basic. Social leeches and those who violate our laws aren’t helping build anything.

----

You want to know why America's health system was collapsing with high costs? Because illegals were using the Emergency rooms for their health care. When Reagan passed the law stating emergency rooms could not turn people away if they could not pay - it was done under the assumption most Americans were here legally and had some sort of ability to pay over time or some health insurance.

This burden allowed the opening for Obamacare fiasco. Illegal immigration places is a head tax on all Americans.

Yes, but their comments on this subject are inane BECAUSE they actually agree with Trump, and their candidate doesn’t have the cajones to come out and be as blunt.

Never any proof, even in court (when Trump testified in 1990) that Trump knowingly employed illegals.

Not one shred of evidence that Trump knew. Just an informant with a hearsay report.

I do understand that as a Cruz fan, you’d declare that good enough and run with it. Simply isn’t proven.

What happened in Iowa is not staying in Iowa. Sane folks all over this fine land have HAD IT with Cochranesque voter manipulation. Can’t imagine that many votes that leave Trump (if there are any) will go to Cruz, or that many who haven’t decided will now choose him.

It must be exhausting

Not really. Trump is the only one in the race that the founding fathers would admire: capitalist and America first candidate. Weaselly lawyers like Cruz and all the others (including Cruz) being globalists... well, it is not exhausting to support someone who actually gives a damn about the country.

Trump probably paid the guy to be there so he could showboat. A setup for the suckers.

The TV show on the road.

No proof? Check this out. A federal court ruled that he did know.

How do you defend that?

Yep. It’s all crap. The union did it on the sly. Because it was work done for a Trump project they had him pay.
