[You mean the guy who kicked Donald’s butt in Iowa and sent him crying like a baby into the twittersphere!]

A net one delegate gain is not = getting your butt kicked...

As for “crying ike a baby”, it seems Cruz’s “victory” has been blunted as a result.

“Never heard of him ...”

Just like most of Cruz’s endorsements.

There is already another thread about some singer from some Christian Pop group “endorsing” him.

The author speculates. “They seemed embarrassed.” What were they embarrassed about, that what Trump said is true that there are illegals that are raping and murdering American citizens and they came over the Mexican border. Why would anyone be embarrassed about an illegal alien committing criminal acts?

Cruz and Trump are both flawed. And judging by the posts here this election cycle, they have no monopoly on the issue.

“How about a teeny tiny taste of what the dems will do “

And let me guess, all of the goofy stuff coming out of Cruz’s mouth, the wacky people around him, and even some of the cringy stuff his dad says, will totally be ignored?

Do you think that Levin, Rush, Nat. Review are going to shout down the massive left-wing media establishment? Because as it stands now, Cruz has zero ability to take on these people on his own without his hand-holders rushing in to circle the wagons whenever he gets into a tough spot.

And that’s SO much worse than Trump, who said Carson was “pathologically diseased” and equated him to a pedophile for things he did in high school? Come on...

Oh please, Trump mouthed a few targeted catch phrases and convinced a bunch of weak-minded liberal, moderate, and half-committed conservative voters to become robots. Let’s not forget Trump’s boast, he says he could even murder someone in broad daylight...

You still haven't closed the loop.

If a mailer "encourages" (to use a nice word) a voter to actually fulfill what's long been regarded as their privilege of citizenship, please explain how that automatically places a vote in Cruz' account? (Especially given the large GoP field)

The Candidates are all following Trumps lead on the issues of Immigration, Trade, the economy. T

Trump keeps saying we are losing because we are led by Stupid deals, and we have Stupid leaders that are destroying this country.

You can deny the truth all you want, but everyone knows that Trump has been driving the issues. It’s all over the news.

He didn’t cheat, any fair person who has reviewed the evidence on the Trumped-up charges knows that. But go ahead and keep saying that, because the more people who look into it will will find out your side is populated by flagrant cranks and liars.

:)

What? (Judging by the personal standards I keep seeing being thrown up by FREEPERs, it makes me think they have a secret perfecto candidate tucked away somewhere...and he'll suddenly emerge & sweep the field!)

HE DID CHEAT!!!

Cruz admitted it, and said he was sorry what he did with Ben Carson.

Then the mailer.... Come on now... You are just making excuses now.

Trust me on this... It’s all over the news anyhow.. Cruz cheated in Iowa, and that’s what pretty much everyone knows.

I think he is going to have a hard time pulling those stunts in New Hampshire in South Carolina.

You can guarantee it will be exposed.

For the record, no one likes a cheater.

Cruz has quite a few problems. I believe Trump will work hard to try to turn around the major decline of our country.
It is also interesting this particular must spend hours upon hours trying to search out something negative to Donald Trump! He posts and posts all day long.... !

From the article:

His (Trump's) speech was so unprofessional, laced with profanity. He attacked Mexicans as rapists and murderers and said they weren't sending their best. Half of our servers at that dinner were Hispanic, some probably of Mexican descent. They seemed embarrassed.

*******

I was at the event where Perry dropped out of the race. Cruz was there and spoke also. After those two speeches we had lunch and one of the Hispanic servers came up to me and asked if Ted Cruz was still around. I told her I thought he had already left. She had been working during his speech and really wanted to hear him.

I had a couple more encounters with random Hispanics who really like Ted with no prompting from me. How do you poll people like that?

“He just bragged and bragged; he didn’t give us a vision for the country.’

This is the mistake people make about Trump that he has no vision for the country.

Trump does have a vision for the country and that vision is whatever Trump believes it should be on any given day.

Only his vision is important.

Save your breath. I got into battle yesterday on another post and argued the same point. It’s okay for Trump to berate everyone because he wants to make America great again but heaven forbid the others use historical political tactics in an effort to sway voters.

I even posted the Freepers own statements and he argued against them.

Just like most of Cruz’s endorsements.

I heard an endorsement of Cruz this morning from Dr. James Dobson. Heard of him?

BTW, Cruz conservative credentials are over 95% rating from the American conservative Union, based on real votes, Rubio is 98% ACU rating on conservative votes taken. We have been waiting for almost 3 decades for candidates like these two, don't get distracted with glitz and glamour, look at conservative voting records.

Again Trump is the ONLY electable candidate.

Oh.

And that's probably because he's so "like-able" across the board, right?
* Gallup: Trump Has Highest Unfavorable Rating of Any Candidate Ever
* Gallup Poll: Donald Trump Has Highest Unfavorable Rating of Any Candidate Since 1992

And don't expect the youth vote to kick in for Trump, either.

His Iowa youth vote % piece of the pie was less than his overall %...& he only garnered 6% more of the youth vote in Iowa than Paul did!
