On February 4, Chicago Police Department officers discovered five adults and one child stabbed to death in a home in Chicago's Gage Park.
Police found the bodies around 1:05 PM Thursday.
According to the Chicago Tribune, the CPD sent officers to investigate after someone called police to say a "co-worker had not shown up for work Wednesday or Thursday." When officers arrived to check on the missing co-worker, they looked through a window and saw "what they believed to be a body" inside the house. Upon entering the house, they found five adults and "a child 11 or 12 years old" - all apparent victims of a mass stabbing.

Time to introduce a ban on sharp objects. Next up blunt objects followed by mandatory hand and foot shackling with a very soft helmut to prevent head buts.

Blame the educational system for not teaching the difference in terminology. Mass is usually more than 1 or 2. But we’d be more inclined to apply that to 60 Million not 6.
It’s very lucky that no one in the group had a firearm to shoot the perpetrator; that would have been violent.

Weird. Morning local news covered this story and didn’t mention the stabbing, just said the family was found dead. Wonder why they didn’t mention the method? Thank you for posting.
