Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz is using video of former President Jimmy Carter against rival Donald Trump.
A new ad released Thursday quotes Carter, who said Wednesday that if he had to pick between the two, he "would choose Trump" over Cruz.
"Trump has proven already that he's completely malleable," Carter, a Democrat, continues in the clip. "I don't think he has any fixed opinions that he would really go to the White House and fight for. Ted Cruz is not malleable."

I trust that he’s right about Trump being “malleable.” Heck, once you cut through the cant its clear from Trump’s books and from his own words that he says things to get his way, and it’s clear he does not believe in anything beyond himself.

Not really. Cruz had nothing to do with Jimmy’s offering of an opinion. Of course, for Trump’s conspiracy theorist: Carson is a psycho when Donald says it; Carson isn’t a real Christian when Donald says it; Cruz is a Canadian when Donald says it; and Trump is championing Carson’s mistreatment by Cruz. The world is upside down if Donald says it is.
