Welfare moms unhappy with free lodging, prepared meals, WiFi, maid service
American Thinker ^ | Feb 4, 2016 | Ed Straker

D.C. welfare moms are having to put up with lodging in hotels that give them prepared meals, cable TV, internet WiFi access, and maid service that don't meet their standards:

"Tiera Williams and her four children dodge cars on a winter evening as they cross the parking lot of the Days Inn to the Washington motel room the children call "Mommy's house."

"People at the Days Inn - one of at least 12 motels being used by the city to house 730 homeless families this winter – lean over the balcony that overlooks the courtyard lit by the December glow of yellow lights."

"They occupy a hidden world of desperation and poverty mixed with every-other-day maid service, free WiFi, continental breakfast in the lobby, and lunch and dinner in the 170-room motel's banquet room."

Lunch and dinner in the banquet room meets my definition of hidden desperation.

"They've been living here since August when Williams - then six months pregnant and unemployed with no place to go – called the city's homeless hotline.

She opens the door to her unit, ushering her children inside a space that she describes as "the size of two jail cells." The decor is pleasant enough, with maroon carpeting, wood paneled headboards and a television in an armoire near a bathroom vanity."

If Tiera is unhappy with her room, why doesn't she go to the front desk and change her reservation to get a larger suite, as any person paying her own way would do?

"Williams dumps bags of groceries on the motel room desk. In the mini refrigerator, she stacks yogurt, apples, oranges and a roasted chicken they will have for dinner that night. She uses her food stamps to buy meals because she doesn't like eating the pasta, casseroles, chicken, hot dogs and other dishes the city provides at the motel."

Sickening. She should be sterilized and her children should be taken away from her. A testament to the fact of “giving an inch results in demanding a mile.”

This is the liberal progressive system of dependency and American taxpayer siphoning.

The Bible has a lot to say about ingratitude.

1 Corinthians 4:7

"For who sees anything different in you? What do you have that you did not receive? If then you received it, why do you boast as if you did not receive it."

1 Thessalonians 5:18

"Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus in you."

This woman is a selfish, lazy, spiteful, fornicating whore. She is not a mother, she does not deserve the title. There are millions like her. Our nation rejected God, and this is but one scourge that we receive in return.

If "every-other-day maid service, free WiFi, continental breakfast in the lobby, and lunch and dinner" is now "desperation and poverty" I just don't know how I survived growing up without so much as $350 sneakers and a smart phone.

Keen eyed readers will note she wasn’t ‘desperate’ enough not to have unprotected sex at least four times.

And this is why Political Correctness is the greatest threat facing civilization.
In a sane world, this worthless cow would be shamed to the grave.
Until we are allowed to point out the DISGUSTING practice of PAYING DEMOCRATS TO BREED, we have no chance.

And to think when growing up I never had a Slinky or a Tiny Tears Doll , yet, I had healthy meals and an apartment that my mother worked for at a Nestles factory. Plus, I had LOVE and guidance.

I was out of the country recently and witnessed the behavior of black people there (yes, black people, they were not Africans and they were not Americans, so we can dispense with the PC hyphenation). These folks were respectful, hard working, well mannered, well spoken, and well dressed. Many were overtly Christian. I saw men and women reading Bibles on the bus. They greeted you and each other with wishes for blessings. They were polite and kind. They were diligent and serious about their work. They respected the law, and had little tolerance for lawbreaking. Their children were well behaved and respectful. They corrected their children and held one another to high standards of proper behavior.

The United States has produced generations of people who are the complete opposite. If you dropped American blacks into the society of the country I just visited, their citizens would have been aghast and ashamed of them.

While working in our church’s food pantry, I was lugging bags of free food out to a car, while the recipient waddled along beside me (carrying her bags of free clothes), and found there were between 1 and 3 adult men sitting in the car, smoking. I put the bags down by the church door, walked over to the car and rapped on the window and told the men, “You need to get out of this car and help that woman carry those bags of food” and then walked off. After that, unless the person getting the food was elderly or walked with a cane, I never offered to carry their food to their cars again. I told them they could make several trips if they needed to. I got dirty looks from them, and from a few of my co-workers because everyone thought I was being mean. So I asked the co-workers why they thought it was bad for me not to carry those bags of food. One older lady said that she looked on it as part of the ministry to carry the bags and that she was trying to be nice. I responded that she was being taken advantage of because most of the people she was carrying for were much younger than her and could easily carry their own bags. Besides, I added, they aren’t doing anything for this food that we’re paying for to give them and if all they do is walk out to the car carrying a few bags, that’s a little work for their free stuff.

I noticed the same thing.....the Compost won’t allow comments to this article. The author of this garbage tried to write this like a tragedy novel, talking about snow and hard rain with poetic adjectives. The Compost knew the piece would have been ripped to shreds.

I too have visited and lived a short time in a country with a large black population, you have described them correctly both foreign and domestic American blacks.

“Where the baby daddy?”

You’re joking with baby daddy singular, right?

I’d be shocked if she could identify 2 of the 4 sperm donors.
