If Jimmy Carter wanted us to vote for Cruz, he would endorse Donald Trump.

Nah. If we have to fight, fight like it’s world war 2 and don’t be ashamed.

But saying any of these guys would do that is like predicting what you would do in a knife fight. No one knows until it happens.

Nope. Carter has been wrong every single time. This is further proof that Ted Cruz is the right candidate. Ted Cruz should use this as a badge of honor.

I love what Cruz says; But his connections to the establishment through the CFR and other GOP connections has historically and almost certainly will tell the tale that he will be more of the same. One can’t go by just what some good speeches advocate. Eisenhower had wonderful speeches that would have convinced any blue blooded American that this is our guy. But the people and connections around him and the determinate factor being the arguably treasonous globalist agenda put forward tells the tale. Unfortunately Cruz as much as I hate to say has those same people and establishment around him that cannot be overlooked. Historically the evidence has been uniform that when one has these globalists CFR roots anywhere around them - GAME OVER- . If Trump truly stands against a harmonized globalist NWO or new America as the agenda is set to unfold then He’ll likely be takin’ out of the picture by assassination if necessary. I guess we’ll find out. But all this projection as to what Trump is? WHo knows? Maybe the guy really wants to uphold this fragile republic and middle class for posterity and everyone is busy projecting all manner of anything and everything to upset what could be a blessing or at least a stop gap to try and get things righted. There is a wicked plan to see America enslaved and destroyed and the incivility among conservatives and American’s is symptomatic of how screwed this country is.

Carter is right. It takes a former democrat, union activist, married twice, reformed conservative like Reagan attracted a lot of democrat crossover votes.

On the other hand, a rock solid conservative like Goldwater lost in a landslide to LBJ.

Carter?

Why would anyone with functional synapse listen, or even care, what that waste of human skin has to bloviate about, regarding anything under the sun?

The epitome, the very definition of failed president, the utmost failure to which all other failures are held up against to judge the degree of failure, that Guy?

I would vow to piss on his grave, except I have prior commitments with Mz fondles.

.This guy says something, anything, and people on this board actually comment on it?

Like what he says has any resemblance to something one would give a second thought to.

Jimmeh?

I can’t remember which debate it was, but all the candidates save Trump were for No Fly Zones and shooting down Russian planes. Once Trump said he would bomb the hell out of ISIS, all the others now say the same thing...Cruz says he will drop a nuke (he said he wants the sand to glow, can only happen with a nuke)

So let’s get past this one...we all agree that everyone wants to bomb ISIS, will Cruz’s bombs kill more than Christie’s bombs or Rubio’s bombs. Trump will bomb them until they go to hell and then he will bomb hell. Now that’s some bombing if you ask me.

But I believe that Trump realized the old realpolitik. Syria has been a Russian client State as Israel is ours. Russia will go to war to protect its client state, in fact its obvious that it already has. Let em have Syria...bring some sanity to the area. A few mortars lobbed once in a while toward Israel and Israel does the same and everyone is happy.

I look at it from a perspective as “both Cruz AND Trump now have endorsements from persons of dubious regard”.

Cruz has Glenn Beck to live with now, and it seems Trump has to deal with good tidings from perhaps the worst President ever before Obama.

...only in theory to those who remember Carter.

You may be right. Most people can't even remember the more recent fiasco that is the Clintons. Doesn't bode well for a reasoned choice for our next president. The electoriate hasn't done a very good job selecting candidates since Reagan, including the one's who lost to Obama.
