Pure insanity...and he's actually being serious.

This from the guy who voted repeatedly for Obamacare and against repeals - creating many of the problems he now wants to "fix" through total government controlled healthcare.

He sure relates to the common man...having spent pretty much his entire career in political office and nearly 3 decades in Congress and was a member of the "Young People's Socialist League" in college.

The kids who idolize this guy — have no concept of the crushing burden taxation and regulations.

For a 500 dollar tax, he is going to save this guy 5000 dollars in insurance premiums. So where do the other 4500 come from? (Take a wild guess).

I remember the last time a democrat ran on, I’m going to raise your taxes and he was slaughtered by Reagan.

A government can either raise taxes or run deficits, neither of which appeal to me. People can also vote to make government smaller.

Smaller government seems like a pipe dream to me given how Reagan made his “A Time for Choosing” speech over half a century ago, yet government got larger, even under Reagan. Now government’s become “too big too fail.”

No, smaller government is not an option. The people don’t want it.

Vermont went single-payer with Obamacare. The annual state budget is $2.7 billion. Funding Obamacare would cost an additional $2.5 billion, effectively doubling Vermont taxes and spending. The state halted its single-payer system in less than 18 months. It was a disaster.

Bernie knows this, but the true ideologue cares not a wit about facts. His proposed government health plan is Marxist failure.

These guys (millennial) won’t cough up 99 cents to pay for a song. And Sanders thinks he can guilt them into Healthcare payments? Good luck!

Somebody stuff him in a nursing home already.

I already have enough debt as is, I’m not slaving my life away for some fossilized Bolshevik.

I’m expecting the system to implode as is, no need to pour kerosene on it.

Someone needs to explain to bernie how the Healthcare Pharmaceutical complex will always increase prices to what ever the market will bear. When a government single payer HC provider is always willing to pay that price it merely continues to force the cost upward until healthcare has to be rationed.

Careful dumas, you are supposed to say you’ll soak the rich, raise THEIR taxes and even some of your retard fan club will turn on you.

They want FREE stuff for THEMSELVES, do you dig? Bernie must be a true believer.

God in heaven by some miracle let this nutter be the rat nominee.

And if health care is a right then no one who works in any aspect of health care can deny their service or product to anyone for any reason or they will be violating someone’s rights.

The government would then have total control over fees, prices and distribution of services and products making anyone in the field a virtual slave. That should work real well for quality and quantity of products and services across the spectrum of the industry.

It isn’t so much that Bernie would destroy what Obama left intact of this country, but what would follow ... another socialist perhaps? Would that socialist take the US down the same road as all other socialist regimes follow filled with bodies and blood?
