Bernie Sanders explained to one New Hampshire voter Wednesday why he should be willing to pay higher taxes in order to fund Sandersâ healthcare reforms.

This from the guy who voted repeatedly for Obamacare and against repeals - creating many of the problems he now wants to "fix" through total government controlled healthcare.
He sure relates to the common man...having spent pretty much his entire career in political office and nearly 3 decades in Congress and was a member of the "Young People's Socialist League" in college.
I wanna be a socialist hero like Bernie when I grow up! /s
The kids who idolize this guy — have no concept of the crushing burden taxation and regulations.
Shades of Venezuela and Hugo Chavez.
I remember the last time a democrat ran on, I’m going to raise your taxes and he was slaughtered by Reagan.
Feel the Burn !!
Everybody gets a free Unicorn!
A government can either raise taxes or run deficits, neither of which appeal to me. People can also vote to make government smaller.
Smaller government seems like a pipe dream to me given how Reagan made his “A Time for Choosing” speech over half a century ago, yet government got larger, even under Reagan. Now government’s become “too big too fail.”
No, smaller government is not an option. The people don’t want it.
>>For a 500 dollar tax, he is going to save this guy 5000 dollars in insurance premiums. So where do the other 4500 come from? (Take a wild guess). <<
Under the sander’s plan, it is more like saving this guy 500 dollars in insurance premiums for a 5000 dollar tax.
how could they? They don't have jobs.
Vermont went single-payer with Obamacare. The annual state budget is $2.7 billion. Funding Obamacare would cost an additional $2.5 billion, effectively doubling Vermont taxes and spending. The state halted its single-payer system in less than 18 months. It was a disaster.
Bernie knows this, but the true ideologue cares not a wit about facts. His proposed government health plan is Marxist failure.
Why hasen’t The Bern gone to fix Venez. as an example of how it is done?

For a $500 tax, you don’t have to pay for healthcare.
OTOH, you don’t get any healthcare.
These guys (millennial) won’t cough up 99 cents to pay for a song. And Sanders thinks he can guilt them into Healthcare payments? Good luck!
Visiting my son and dil in a couple of weeks.
yup, they are feeling the bern.
I got some heavy lifting to do....
We will get a smaller government eventually. Either voluntarily and gradually, or more likely very suddenly with no other choice.
Somebody stuff him in a nursing home already.
I already have enough debt as is, I’m not slaving my life away for some fossilized Bolshevik.
I’m expecting the system to implode as is, no need to pour kerosene on it.
