I have loved Ted Cruz since he filibustered. I loved him even more since he.called McConnell a liar. Nothing Ted has done since then has changed my love for him.
But then there's the Donald. I love him too! I love how he has torn apart the political correctness and the conventional wisdom.
But how can I love both candidates and not be unfaithful to them both?
I wish they would stop fighting each other. I wish they would start fighting Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.
You’re not alone.
The Mormans got it figured out. Move to Utah.
PICK ONE OR THE OTHER NOW AND CIRCULAR ARGUMENT WITH YOURSELF! ( /S )
Ditch Cruz immediately and turn all political guns on amnesty Rubio.
Cruz for the Supreme Court! After two terms as the greatest President of this century!
Same. Let stop fighting freepers.
Go for Trump ... Cruz can’t win , Trump can ... Trump will deal with the immigration invasion properly , Cruz won’t because his backers want unlimited immigration . We welcome everyone and could definitely use your help .
As your attorney, my advice is to start drinking.
Heavily.
I like both men, but there is one and only one I would want to see as President.
Maybe you ought to try to imagine how each of them would govern.
...Torn between two candidates, feelin’ like a fool
Supportin’ both of them is breakin’ all the rules...
I dunno if he’s prepared to be a judge, but I’d take him.
Well, for one, don’t come to this forum until after Election Day. Supporters for each candidate take every opportunity to crap on the other candidate and his supporters here. I sometimes wonder if FR’s routing has been hacked to a liberal site.
No need to decide yet. You have until the March 1st primary.
(I have until March 15th in NC.)
I thought I was the only person who did that.
LOL, that song immediately came to mind.
I feel the same way. On top of that, I’m an atheist. An atheist conservative. So this whole evangelical thing really turns me off. But I like ‘em both.
You are not alone. Keep praying that they eventually stop sniping at each other and become a team.
“You wouldnt want Cruz on the Supreme Court for 40 years?”
No. I did at one point, but not after he demonstrated that, like Democrats, he believes the Constitution to be “living, breathing instrument”.
what to do? beer, chicken wings and an evening of craps in Vegas.
I have the same inner conflict about Trump and Cruz. I like both of them. Both of them have their pluses and minuses. Trump's plus is that he's completely from the outside and I think that's what we need to really move the chains in Washington. Trump's negative is that he does not surround himself with handlers to keep him from saying whatever he wants to say. Then again, that's also a plus. I'm tired of candidates who read from teleprompters and always use lawyer language and parse their words.
Cruz's plus is that we know where he stands relative to conservatism. He's the conservative we always fantasized about having in the White House. Cruz's minus is that he will likely not bring much crossover into the general election as most moderates feel he is too "right wing". However, if the Democrats really go ahead and nominate Shrillary, Cruz might have a chance to take the general because all those youngsters going ga-ga for Bernie Sanders will likely sit the election out if he doesn't get the nomination. An energized conservative base may just do that trick in that situation.
What I'm sure about is that I don't want Rubio to get the nomination. Yes, if it comes down to it, I'll hold my nose and vote for him over the Democrat. But I really don't want to have to do that. Rubio is just "business as usual" and nothing will really change in Washington.
What we really need is radical change and only Trump and Cruz can really do that.
