I like Trump and if I were him, I’d stay far away from Karl. He’s worse than having Beck on your side.

6:29 Marco Rubio supporter Conrad Close tweeted, “Rubio campaign pushing the narrative hard that Carson is dropping out. Obviously looking to pick up votes from Carson.”

... 51 minutes later....

7:20 While the caucuses were in session, Cruz supporter Iowa Congressman Steve King tweeted, “Carson looks like he is out. Iowans need to know before they vote.”

You and your wife get in the car and you drive to the caucus for an exciting evening. You love the caucus setting, and hearing all of the people trying to persuade others to vote for their guy or gal. You're gung ho set to vote for Dr. Carson the brilliant surgeon. You get there and find your seats.... and the excitement really starts to ramp up. All of a sudden a guy stands up and says "Dr. Carson is probably dropping out. He's not going to New Hampshire or South Carolina so ... instead of wasting your vote you should vote for Cruz." You look at your wife, and say... wow... we didn't know... let's vote for Cruz.

Here's your sign.

No way do I want open border, establishment Rubio

This could get weird, perhaps. Trump beats Cruz in some states, Cruz beats Trump in others. Rubio keeps a constant drumbeat of delegates rolling. Suddenly, at the convention, it's chaos.

Karl Rove is an idiot. He is also a vile man. You can bet that if he is in favor of something, it is wrong.

Karl Rove was one of the biggest problems with the George W. Bush administration.

“Karl Rove, when was the last time this guy was correct..!?”

He certainly wasn’t correct this time. Bill O corrected him and Rove looked a bit embarrassed.

I hear you. A month ago it was Trump, Cruz and Carson. Nobody else was even close. Now Rubio is suddenly in the thick of it. Those here who are chortling about Trump's "comeuppance" and patting each other on the back about Cruz's "landslide" obviously aren't looking at the delegate count - which shows a virtual three-way tie between them and Marco Rubio.

Both Trump and Cruz need to regain their focus or Rubio is going to blow right by them and claim the prize. Trump is fortunate that New Hampshire is only a few days away and he still has a large lead (if recent polls are to be believed). Meanwhile Cruz needs to get himself out of fourth place in New Hampshire (again if recent polls are to be believed).
