Donald Trump continues to lead the Republican field in New Hampshire, but a new poll of likely Republican primary voters shows Jeb Bush in second place.

Trump maintains a strong lead over his Republican opponents with 31 percent, according to a Harper Polling survey of likely Republican primary voters in New Hampshire. Bush comes in second with 14 percent, followed by John Kasich at 12 percent. Marco Rubio is at 10 percent, while Ted Cruz is at 9 percent.

Yep. Trump will win by single digits (because he hasn’t bothered to put together a ground game in NH either) but Rubio will come in 2nd. Mark my words. Rubio will be the only storyline going into SC. And it will have been Trump’s slash and burn Democrat talking points that will have paved the way for Rubio.

Cruz’s dirty politics in Iowa turned off a lot of voters.

Preacher Ted's Holy Roller act wont work well with these bitter New Englanders.

I can't help but notice that most of the Cruz supporters are, well, basically nuts.

If you're so "conservative" (emphasis on the quotes) that you think Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh are RINOs, then you're effing crazy.

That's why I don't think Cruz is a viable candidate. I like the guy, but he appeals to only a tiny fraction of even the Republican party.

“I can’t help but notice that most of the Cruz supporters are, well, basically nuts.”

That’s exactly what I believe about Trump supporters.

Well a fifth place finish in NH should really rocket Ted into SC. :-)

Only five days until they leave us alone.

My predicted finish:

Trump
Kasich
Rubio
Bush
Cruz

Percentages? I have no idea.

I’m considering switching my registration next Tuesday to vote for Sanders, because crushing the witch is critical, but I did that in 2008 on the grounds that Obama could not possibly win so a vote for him couldn’t hurt, and look where that got us...

Cruz supporters aren’t crazy.

Trump supporters aren’t crazy.

RUBIO SUPPORTERS ARE CRAZY. He has betrayed up over and over and over and will give amnesty to 30,000,000 democrat voters.

Thats exactly what I believe about Trump supporters.

Not a good comparison.

Trump's supporters want to build a wall on the Mexican border and need better trade deals and competent people in government.

Cruz supports think we need more Bibleness and obscure references to the Constitution to beat Liberalism, and that Rush Limbaugh and Sarah Palin are RINO Liberal traitors.

One group is pragmatic and realistic. One group is delusional and crazy.

“Don’t know how credible this poll is.”

I don’t know either. What ever the poll Trump has been in the low 30’s. 2nd place has been jumping round with every poll that comes out. If the trend continues the next poll will have someone else in 2nd place.

This is the liberal north east where the RHINOs and Trump are right at home

This is the liberal north east which, together with California, Oregon, and Washington have 174 electoral votes. Add Maryland, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota and you have 225. Florida, Michigan, and Virginia make 282.

Please explain to me how Cruz can win any of those states.

No difference between Hillary and Jeb. Bushes and Clintons are both part of the same crime syndicate. Now their bets will be hedged.

It’s interesting that Trump thinks he doesn’t need to do any of that icky ground game stuff.

I hope he’s right, but I agree that, if Rubio does well in NH, he’ll have the wind in his sails.

What’s your point? That we should continue to nominate RHINOs and continue to lose. Been there done that — not again.
